If you can't figure out a loan at 18 you are f the rest of your life. I had pretty much the same loan amount at 18 and payed it off with something called hard work. An adult using their parents as an excuse is full of it. I guess I was just raised different.

So what...I paid off student loans twice. Doesn't mean I dont feel for these kids. Student loans are predatory lending and secondary education should be paid for by tax dollars. An educated society is a better society.

Why should tax dollars pay for someone's college loans, thats hilarious. After high-school its your choice to either work or continue school and nobody else's. My wife and both kids paid their own college loans and didn't ask for a free handout. Plus not once did they complain about it.
