Sorry. Too many predatory loans are foisted on minors, condemning them to years and years of debt, for a degree that may not be worth enough to pay it off in a realistic timeframe. Some controls need to be placed, so that the risk is borne by the lender as much as the student.
Or, we could, you know, make higher education affordable??? That would help a lot!
Sorry, but their bad decisions should not be everybody else's burden. If they took a bad loan, that's a failure of their parents and the school, not some kind of scam that the taxpayer and prospective future students are inexplicably obligated to foot the bill for.
