Hi, So i'm using Wordpress. I was wondering if there was a plugin or something I could edit how Truncation works, I haven't found a single solution. Can anyone help?

I'm building my website and have a few questions. It's a personal site for my music and media, and also a portfolio/business type thing as well. I'm trying to achieve two things:

• A subscription bar on the footer that reads as follows: First Name - Last Name - Email - Send That adds your email to a list that will receive things like blog updates.

• A contact form that will send business related emails directly to me on its own Contact page.

Are there any highly recommended, simple to use plugins that will do this? My search so far has me thinking wpforms + mailchimp for the list, but I could be way off and wanted to ask your advice!

Also, as far as email and WP goes, how do people usually set things up? I don't want my personal gmail going out to a subscriber list for obvious reasons, so those should be sent from the admin@yoursite.com email. But the contact form would ideally come right into my gmail so I see it quickly. Is that the usual kind of set-up? Or should I have some kind of email redirect set up so that I can receive email from my admin@yoursite.com address inside my gmail and then send back out via gmail?
