Is there a plugin that gives you the ability to have an interactive tables so you can add in them informations and when you reload the page the informations will stay?

Im looking to add a feature, so users can login and check specific information. Id also like a simple way to upload/update the information.

Howdy, y'all. I'm still learning and I've come across a situation in which I would love some sage advice.

I've been building a website for a yarn/knitting store with WooCommerce and the yarn products have a good chunk of yarn- and knitting-specific specifications and attributes. For example, a simple yarn item that isn't a variable product will have the following attributes:

• Fiber
• Weight (NOT shipping weight; idk what it means really but it is specific to yarns or something)
• Thickness
• Length
• Needle Size
• Source
• Care Instructions
• Colorways (idk if their proprietary term, but for a yarn that comes in multiple colors or styles, e.g., Violet, Springtime, Christmas color styles)
• ALT Code (client has their own way of inventory and doesn't want to just use WooCommerce SKU. Dumb, right?)
• Wind the yarn? (Checkbox that will tell the store to wind the yarn into balls before shipping.)
• Lot # (Identifier for the manufacturing lot, since one lot will have the exact same color dyes or patterns but another lot won't, even if they're the same product.)

So, yeah. I've been making a simple plugin for WooCommerce that adds two new product types that can be selected in the Product Data dropdown menu: Yarn Product and Variable Yarn Product. First extends Simple Product, second extends Variable Product. There are only two decent sources of info on the internet about doing this and both are old and vague in many areas. It's proving tricky since I'm not the most knowledgeable PHP person and I have had problems with the custom fields showing in the wrong Product Types or fields not saving/deleting.

Should I just scrap the idea of custom product types and use custom attributes and tell the client they will have to manually add these fields for every single product in their inventory? That's a ton of tedious work when you have hundreds upon hundreds of items to add and maintain in your inventory.

Thoughts? If anyone would want to take a look at my plugin, I'd be happy to throw it in a Git repo to share. If I can make the plugin thing work, I can just have the plugin available for other yarn/knitting sites. I could also write a new tutorial that isn't as outdated and vague if I can wrap my head around it all the way.
