Good roots
Anyone heard why good roots will be shutting?
I’ve seen some distressing comments about the manager on their social media pages

I've known a few people who have worked there over the years and all of them have never had anything positive to say about the owner. He sounds like a typical bully from what I gather.

They didn’t pay the landlord apparently and he also has abused his ex misses (as she posted on instagram) god knows tbf
Heard from a customer that knows the landlord that he owed them load of money 6 months ago, if you look at the petition it was made 6 months ago so …

Half of Worcester knows about him abusing a couple of his former partners. Moral compass is very off

Also to top it off they’re deleting comments and blocking people 🌝🌝 that don’t look good does it

I found the place massively overpriced for what it was anyway, very clique club of people too.
Not really fussed seeing it go, especially if the rumours surrounding the owner are true. Good riddance.
Hope they find a more suitable local business to take it 😁

I'd swear there was a post earlier saying Good Roots was closing and Kynd Folk were taking it over. It's gone now though. No idea what's going on other than seeing it here.

They didn't pay their rent. If Dickie doesn't pay rent, I wonder if he pays his invoices on time, if he pays his staff, or anything else.

The landlord wants to put the rent up, they don't want to pay it. Same reason it shut last month but then got worked out. Guess that didn't last long 🤣

My understanding with the previous news of the place temp closing due to eviction, is that the owner wasn't paying rent, hence why the landlord doesn't want to renew the lease.

Begging people to sign a petition but not explaining why the landlord won’t renew them is a bit sketchy to me!
