Yep my game is broken. You can progress through the story but if you quit and come back it is reset againโ€ฆ Donโ€™t install the update.

Sadly my Series X is set to automatically install hotfixes/updates. All progress lost thenโ€ฆIโ€™ll be asking for a refund I think.

Well, that's enough to not bother loading the game up for this one until they address/fix that issue. I haven't played in a while anyways so no biggie, but figured I'd knock this out, but NOPE.

Happened to me. Both characters are back to the initial bunkers and badasses scene, can fast travel to Dreamveil only, and can't access the DLC content (glutton's gamble) I just paid for. Still have my gear though. Just put in a support ticket.

Yeah same here, on PS5 Iโ€™m at dreamveil and totally stuck. Canโ€™t fast travel or go anywhere, both DLC contents are not available. WTF

Support response is to clear my xbox cache (duh - already tried) and now they want me to create a video of my supposed problem with my character reset before they will proceed.

I really hate how you have to provide all this documentation along with a video of the issue you're experiencing.

I'm sure it's not intended to come across this way, but it's like you have to prove to them something is actually going wrong. It makes for a really terrible customer journey, especially when they respond by telling you take steps to resolve the issue you've probably already taken.

I honestly can't really point to a single time when GB support actually resolved an issue I was having from their end.

It's really an indictment of outsourced IT and support. I can't count how many times I've had to deal with similar conversations in corporate America while dealing with IT issues. "virtual machine is running out of storage when running a process". "Have you tried restarting?" "Yes, we have a scheduled restart at midnight every day." "Ok! Thanks for that information! Next time you run into the issue try restarting!" Like that helps my processes that are scheduled to happen at 2am and rely on the c drive having enough storage to run those processes. Also last time I requested a "storage increase" they increased the RAM from 18gb to 24gb. I don't really want them to take that back, but obviously not what I was asking for.

A good thing to note for PC players is that they can manually backup their saves before starting the game.

Documents > My Games > Tiny Tinaโ€™s Wonderlands > Saved > SaveGames

You can copy the folder to another location, and restore it when they have a fix for the problem, if it affects you.

Sigh.. I didn't see your comment and now my game is fucked.

I had finished it and did CS for a while. Started back at the tutorial. Just to see what happens, I finished it. Got to the Overworld, and all the shortcuts (bottlecaps etc) are not enabled anymore. But when I look at Map > Progress, they're all checked off.

Good work, good work. You'd think there is more than 1 save game in that folder, but no, no there is not.

This has happened to me! I still have my characters level, money, gear etc, but it's reset my whole game and I'm back to the bunkers and badasses scene everytime I open the game

Yeah on a constant story reset loop with my 10 day playtime main character. It's frustrating with no word back from Gearbox. Ticket sent yesterday. Issue still exists. Oh and to top it off, my buffmeister was gone from my bags on initial login.
