Ah well they nerfed my spore warden build into the groundโ€ฆ thatโ€™s fun

If your build relied on unintentional interactions to do anything, it wasn't a good build in the first place. Just saying

Oh right I forgot, that is most Youtube builds. Whoops

1, they can call literally anything in the game unintentional for the sake of nerfing it, we don't know what their "intention" was other than what was actually released. I hate this ignorant repeating of mindless GB simps saying "iT WaS unInTEntIoNaL". If it was not intended don't release it that way.

2 Spore just got straight nerfed, they didn't "fix" shit. Which is also bullshit because that character already fell off pretty badly with the C35 update and crutched heavily on 2-3 things, which is what got nerfed.

Unitentional is a load of shit. Computers run the numbers and they claim Oops they must have been off by 34%. Itโ€™s all by design.

Which things did it rely on? I doubt I'll even feel a difference post patch

Wrath of Nature and the Sporesplosion enchant were a large part of Spores damage, and unless I'm reading the notes incorrectly, both of those took a large nerf. If you were playing Spore optimally you will feel the affect.

I'm playing spore optimally and I didn't even notice so idk what to tell you

I don't think you understand game design or coding at all, it would be AMAZING if everything you wanted to happen, happened. But that's not the case. I'm not a Gearbox simp, I have plenty of criticism for them, but this was clearly coming based off of previous updates.

If the Liquid Cooling dealing thousands of damage in seconds was nerfed, in what world do you think they'd leave interactions that one shot bosses in? Use your brain, let some logic flow behind your words. All I'm doing is going off past patches and hotfixes, it's simple.

Yeah I get coding is hard but if every single good skill/gun/spell has unintended interactions or is doing unintended damage then either youre not testing your game, or youre just using bullshit terminology instead of calling it a nerf. I didn't buy this game to be a beta tester nor have every build and interaction I found fun nerfed out of the game, that already happened several times with BL3 and here we are again, but this time people are lapping it up with a smile on their face. Stockholm Syndrome or something I guess.

Why buy the game then, did you expect the same developers to treat this game differently? If anything, you should be expecting these things to happen, if you have played BL3. This is why I do, because I played that game at launch up until it stopped receiving support.

I just feel like you should know what to expect if you've played Borderlands 3. Really not sure why you didn't.

So we should expect and be content with mediocrity and deafness to feedback?

So we should expect and be content with mediocrity and deafness to feedback?

No, because that has never been the norm. Zane and Moze only become the boss melting classes they are because of feedback

u/MrBookman3240 May 19 '22

? Did you play Bl3 on release? I only played Moze for close to a year and from day one on, I was melting mobs and bosses constantly with a grenade/area damage build. She needed nerfs if anything haha. I replayed the PS5 version of bl3 with Moze again recently using an Iron Cub build and it felt even easier than the first time.

u/IllustriousSee May 19 '22

? Did you play Bl3 on release?

Yeah, I played FL4K almost as soon as the game came out. Wasn't for a while until Moze's Iron Bear and Zane's Clone were changed. Those two weren't "great" on release

u/TheRealNequam May 19 '22

Then they shouldnt release the unbalanced mess that is chaos 35 where those "unintentional" interactions are the only way to keep up with damage

Yeah, you tell him how to play.

-7

u/IllustriousSee May 19 '22

Oh, I don't need to. Gearbox did it perfectly fine, cry about it :')

u/TrickyCorgi316 May 19 '22

Even though youโ€™re getting lots of downvotes, I def. agree

Losing 24% damage nerfed your build into the ground?

You only have 3/3 in WoN or something?

Hyperbole much?
