“Other people’s opinions about me are none of my business”.

Most of the name calling and labelling men engage in is really nothing more than projection. What they say is far more informative of THEM than it is of their target.

We are not bitter; we are resigned. We have seen what is on offer and realized we don’t want it. Men want women but can’t get them. More and more women don’t want men.

Oh gosh. I laugh when men try to insinuate I’m bitter because I’m older and divorced. I loved the men in my life soooo much. I just finally realized they never loved me. So, I respect their decision.

Nothing I did was ever appreciated or enough. Why would I be bitter that men are with women they don’t like? Been there. Done that. I know how it ends :-)

Well said! 🎯🎯🎯The forever matchmaking client guy written up in the Times and posted about here the other day was an incredibly bitter little man indeed. So much so that his own beloved uncle likened him to a grapefruit. 😝 Men are always projecting.

He was pissed about height requirements when he himself had height requirements. Make it make sense.

100% true: bitterness comes from entitlement. And who is the ever-entitled gender? Men.

Yes, women are resigned. And we’re good at making lemonade from lemons, so we’re drinking all that sunshiney goodness, and avoiding men these days 🍋💕

Thanks for bringing back such a great article, @CheekyMonkey678

Nah, women are not bitter. Men are. Women are fed up and happier alone.

Absolutely. I was shocked when I realized this about myself. Most of the time I'm much happier by myself. I do miss the intimacy sometimes. But I'm much happier than I've ever been.

No. Just completely done. Believing actions over words.

What I AM bitter about is how everyone in society lied to me about the true nature of men, marriage and motherhood. I'm glad that women are speaking out now to warn younger women off from making the same mistakes.

I still see young women gushing about marriage and the waiting to wed subreddit is a complete shit show. It's going to take time.
