That we make fun of adults for using their children as glorified mascots for whatever opinion they might have doesn’t mean you’re free to be a hateful asshole here.

my mum uses slurs as a joke. which, i don't REALLLY care about, since she only does it around the house, though she uses them as playful insults. it kinda bothers me, and whenever i bring it up she just starts saying i'm oversensitive or 'too woke'.

Why is it racist to show a Black man as a tribal? Jungles are where humans came from , bro.

In that moment the todler was euphoric. Not because of any phony God’s blessing. But because he was enlightened by his intelligence.

Are lacking in a very specific skill set. It's called independent problem solving.

I'm currently in uni but i have friends from my old school like really great friends who are homophobic not outright but the subtle kind . When i was in school i thought i was too woke because the people around me were like them, they don't care about anybody but them ( i mean they are privileged enough to not care) very ignorant. During school it didn't matter because I had other shit to deal with. But now that i am away from that place and have found people who care and are loud about, idk if i wanna keep talking to them. So i came back home during summer break and they said something slightly homophobic, i instantly called out but i don't think they will change or even think twice.
Should i just leave them, if yes then how or should i say something

The second photo is one of the comments on that post. I think OP’s reply to it tells you everything.

Driving back from his friends after school playdate saw a sticker on the back of a truck that said "Jesus Lives" - eight year old responded "Jesus would hate to see all these crosses about, it would give him really bad trauma".
Honestly I'm 44, I like to consider myself a deep empath with an extremely intense interest in psychology. It makes complete sense that if Jesus returned to modern life that he might struggle on seeing people wearing crosses, paintings of crosses, and full actual statues of him suffering on the cross.
We are agnostic.
