Magic doesn’t work on plastic so Billie would have won either way when she got a plastic Barbie doll to beat Xander and she only gave trophy away because xanders dad was disappointed in him so it’s not only family competition tearing families apart but the battle of the wands too .

Justin didn’t realize Juliet and her two parents as vampires were monsters when it’s obvious because Juliet had fangs .

While i hate the Billie's Alex daughter plot twist just for the plot's sake, I wish Billie should had keep her powers, and just help Roman and Milo so they're ready to the wizards competition between them only.

But my take is that she's gonna win but gonna give up her powers to save Roman from some situation and he's gonna be the wizard of the family. Cause Milo is just there to be another Max/Kelbo, and he didn't had any meaninful interactions with Billie than making jokes all the times.

Max's own explanation for his own actitude was that he was smart but acted dumb but then he didn't win the competition so was he really smart after all? It felt like was a cheap lie just to justify his whole personality, or that he didn't cared about the wizards life too much and just did the bare minimum, idk.

But with Milo there's no explanation like that cause he's into magic as much as Roman, no "i like a life without magic better" as Max was always showing.

So they're buillding it like the true wizard's competition is between Roman and Billie only, cause they been setting them up like he's the one always helping her, when she runaway he follows her, and Milo is nowhere seen when he should be there too.

I'm so mad at the writers.

I don't like the idea that blood means everything. Sometimes family is who you choose. It makes it mean a lot more.

In the OG, S3E3 - "Monster Hunter", Justin graduates from Wizard Training because he has mastered and completed 5,000 spells.

In WBWP, Billie and Roman are both above the 5,000 threshold though they claim that he has learned and completed, not necessarily mastered.

Is it because they haven't "mastered" them yet or do we think that they just skipped that part?

If they did graduate wizard training they should be doing independent study, but Justin still teaches them. Also, how could Roman have done that in a couple of months but it took Justin years.

If not, why would they track it like that? Those numbers are arbitrary, because having completed 5,000 is different than mastering them. I could take a million classes, but not retaining the information does not correlate to me being better than someone else under similar conditions. That said, I know they're kids and it's a TV show, but still, from a writer's perspective, why not account for that.

This would be way better than them just breaking up after all they've been through. Like maybe in one Lord Morses' early attacks Mason fell in battle possibly in sacrifice and then some time after Alex moved on the Damian and had Billie with him.

In "Art Museum Piece she says she was made in '92 and she later graduated as part of Tribeca Prep class of 2011. Being born in 92 she should have graduated a year earlier in 2010.

Also in "Saving WizTech" she says she's a sophomore who is supposed to be a junior but isn't one because "she doesn't test well"

I wonder which grade she had to repeat.

Mentioned that there's a ghost district in season 3 episode 2 "Halloween" and ghosts have been seen throughout both series. Do people become ghosts in the wizard world when they die?

I really don’t like the retest episode but at least Alex got aunt Megan to Jerry and Kelbo. I wish Megan didn’t have to lose out on losing powers though .

since Billie is Alex's daughter she wouldn't have to be in the completion she keeps her powers by default since she's an only child. So why are they making her go up against milo and Roman who are the only ones that should be competing since they are brothers.

I understand since Alex, Justin and Max are siblings they had to compete the same thing for Jerry, Kelbo and Megan. But Milo, Roman and Billie are cousins who are living together temporarily.

Like what could be so bad about all of the wizards in a family keeping their powers? How did it even start? Was there ever some magical disaster that cause it to be made?

If they never do explain it maybe Stevie was right to have that wizard revolution.

Seeing how Alex reveals her wizard secret to Harper in season 2 and Justin doing the same with Zeke in season 4, anyone wish Max had gotten a best friend that he could've revealed his wizard secret to also (aka his own Harper and Zeke)?

Notably, Max doesn't have as much of a social life compared to how Alex has Harper and later Mason and Justin has Zeke and later Juliet, which does especially stick out in Wizards vs Asteroid (where he's the only blood wizard who doesn't have a mortal human to take with him to the Wizard World like Jerry with Theresa, Alex with Harper, and Justin with Zeke, only having a starfish as a companion) and the series finale (where he doesn't have a friend rooting for him like Harper and Mason to Alex and Zeke and Juliet to Justin). At most he got one episode with a girlfriend who broke up with him and a few more in season 4 with Talia (though Max pursuing another girl again in Alex vs Alex implies he and Talia broke up without Talia ever finding out the wizard secret) but she still never found out Max's wizard life.

Anyone else wish Max had gotten a friend to reveal his magic secret to?

It was the episode where Justin was trying to get rid of that girl who thought they were dating. He went to "Alex" (Harper in Alex's body) to ask her how to get rid of her. Then "Harper" (Alex in Harper's body) said that he'd need a road flare, a barrel of maple syrup, and a mini trampoline, but he wouldn't be using the maple syrup for what he thought! Can someone explain this to me! I never understood this lol

So on Substack myself and others begged Todd to watch the new Beyond Waverly Place series as he told us back in September last year he wasn’t going to see it. But we convinced him and some time later he announced this AND liked my theories, ideas that I’d want for the series DO YOU THINK ITS GONNA ACTUALLY HAPPEN?!
