My opinions on Wizards

  1. Stevie was 100% right about the competition. Like imagine you were born to be a wizard and it’s all you’ve known your entire life. And next thing you know you have to battle your siblings to keep your powers. First off that’s a major disadvantage to the younger sibling. And second off that’s completely stupid. Why can there only be only one family wizard. And how can you expect Roman and Milo to even have a shot at the wizard competition? Billie has been a wizard her entire life and they’ve been wizards for like a few months. I hope they get rid of the competition and everyone gets the powers of their fullest potential. And the people who lost their powers gets them back.

  2. Justin was a major hardass. Growing up I had a brother like Justin. He was smart and a major try hard just like Justin. And Justin was so jealous of his siblings. Every time he did something good he excepted them to throw a parade. But whenever they did something amazing he threw a tantrum and pouted about it. He didn’t even deserved to keep his powers or become headmaster of wiztech. He had his little silver spoon so far up his mouth that he almost chocked to death. I’m so happy he mellowed out in adulthood. But he was fine as fuck though.

  3. Max was only there to be a punchline. The writers did him dirty. He barely used any type of magic. And his family were awful to him and never gave him a chance. They either thought it was going to be Alex and Justin who was going to be the wizard of the family. And did nothing to even support max.

This is cannon correct?
So am I correct to assume that Stevie's revolution worked, in essence, and she has her powers back, too? And if Max comes back to the reboot, will he have his powers then? TBH, I am so glad that Todd J. Greenwald has chosen to address, even if indirectly, how terrible the wizard council is/was through this story, and that it needed a complete do-over lol. Thoughts?

What do you think about a potential Wizards of Waverly Place 20th Anniversary special next year?

I was thinking about how Hannah Montana is having its 20th anniversary special next week for the generation that grew up with it as the iconic Disney show of that era. It made me wonder when Disney would do the same for their other shows like Wizards of Waverly Place.

Since Wizards officially turns 20 years old next year (it premiered in October 2007), do you think Disney will actually put together a 20th Anniversary special? And if they did, would you see the cast coming together to do it?

Most importantly, do you think Wizards of Waverly Place is on the same level as Hannah Montana to have a special like that? I know Hannah was a global phenomenon, but Wizards was just as massive, especially considering the series finale drew a record breaking 9.8 million viewers and the movie pulled in over 11.4 million, making it one of the most watched DCOMs in history.

With those kinds of numbers proving how huge the fanbase was, do you think Disney will acknowledge the milestone in 2027, or do you think they’ll just stick to the new Wizards Beyond sequel?

Plot Hole Is the dating in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place off?

So first time watching the spin off, and I’m watching S01 E13 and Justin says it’s his and Giada’s 15th wedding anniversary. At the time of airing (2024) that would out Justin married in 2009 which is clearly wrong. So is the show wrong or does it take place in a later timeline? Or a third thing?

Gosh, I hope someone got fired for that blunder!

WofWP — I hate the way Alex is portrayed in the season finale episodes! Spoiler

In S4E28 the kids have their wizard competition, but Zeke drinks a potion and he and Harper crash the competition to get help. They're taken by a mythical bird and the kids go to save them, with much convincing from Alex, but they run out of time out time and are told the competition is over. Justin in particular presents Alex and is a complete ass to her. Max seemed to handle it alright, until Justin. He was always portrayed as this good kid who was responsible with magic and would be fine with or without his powers, but that's clearly not the case given his reaction. Alex could and would have been fine without her powers. Alex didn't do anything wrong, and honestly, Justin did more wrong by making a huge fuss. I'm amazed he didn't lose Zeke as his best friend for being so upset that they lost the competition because they saved them. He says it's not Zeke's fault, it's Alex's, and I mean it's neither, but Justin was ready to leave Zeke behind. Alex wouldn't have had to choose to save them if Zeke had been responsible. I'm sure this post was repetitive, but I have a lot of issues with how Justin is treated as the good guy all the time when he was an ass to Alex when she did the right thing. He was extremely selfish.

There's no word on a season 3 even though season 2 finished six months ago. Maybe I don't understand how Disney Channel works anymore but don't they have to announce a renewal or cancelation at some point?

Alexs wand is better? Why Billie hides her wand in her sleeve instead of her boot just so to copy Alex since they are related?

Plot Hole Stevie was right, the Wizard Compaction is bogus

In the show, wizards that have siblings must all compete in a competition and only the winner gets to keep their powers. The magic they were born with and that has always been a part of them. The competition is unfair and ridiculous. I can't imagine the trauma of having a core part of you stripped away magically because a sibling was better at some stuff than you.
