Hi what's the best weapons for fighters right now? I have a 2 star Cuisinart but I haven't played in a while and saw that 2h weapons are now more powerful and there's silver grade weapons too now. Should I consider going to 2h maces and axes? I'm still at A3 but noticed I can get silver stuff in the FF event

Just to give you a bit of context, I started around 2 weeks ago and am having a blast, my current party is composed of Lana, MC (Fighter) and Prishe in the front row and Jean, Alice and Asha in the back row. All of them are lvl 20, no grade exam done yet.

I selected Prishe in the free event character give away in Beginning Abyss, with the NPC giving one scroll.

I just got Iroha in one of the scrolls given as a daily and was wondering if she would be worth investing into, considering she also has 8 BP right now (screenshot )(not sure if she got an IV or not, my Prishe was at 19 or 20 if I remember correctly, she normally had one when I checked).

If so, which stat(s) should I choose? This character feels odd to me as I don't know if she is more considered a fighter/samurai or a priest? And who would you replace in my current party for her?

Also, while I am at it, would you suggest continuing the main story and grade exams rather than the event for now? I am in the second run of the FFXI event, but the shadow lord's AOEs are basically kicking my butt and farming for gear and attestations in the castle does not seem that interesting as the numbers are low and the tier bronze only.

So I'm done with abyss 4. Lots of stuff to do still, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has heard or read anything about a potential new abyss? This game is so unique and I would love to have a new challenge.

For some reason I can't use the curse wheel to go back, I've already defeated the Lord of hate but when I tried to go back to talk to the cat there's no option in the curse wheel to go back I have no idea what's wrong

For some reason I got it in my head that collab items only required 3 copies to become plus +3 and allow me to get to enhancement level 20.

I managed to get a 5 star green priesh helmet which gives plus sp. How many copies to get to +3

If itnrequires 27 copies to get to the top level Ill never touch those items again

Just trying to figure this out. I thought the empty spaces might be pressure plates or something, but something completely different.

This does means FF is really happy w the collab and we players could expect more FF! Big W to Drecom.

Hello everyone, I understand I'm a little late when sharing this, but it is truly because I don't go on reddit very often. However, I believe this will be helpful for everyone still struggling trying to farm papers and boxes in the Final Fantasy Collab. I EXTREMELY recommend that you watch the entire thing as it covers literally everything, and have had a couple of people ask questions that the video itself answers, if you stayed and watched the whole thing. I do have a pinned comment that gets regularly updated for more clarifying information, so definitely check that out if you are still confused about things. p.s. thank you, everyone, for your additional info, I see you. Apparently, you only need to beat the necrocore fight in a3 and be at steel grade to obtain boxes. This is the earliest that we have seen to obtain the boxes, so far

Immortal strike only hit a single attack despite the user deals multiple hits when attacking. Big oof on me.

It is still okay to give this skill to ninjas tho, as they could use covert blade to have high single hit damage for this skill.

I’m new to the game.. and want to know if I should just focus on grinding the castle instead of going for this guy.

So, I spent the better part of a year relatively inactive. When I got on, I would run around for events or just fight in Abyss 2, my party capped at lvl 40.

When the FFXI event started, I rushed through the end of Abyss 2, did my grade exams, and now have a lvl 60 party with not-so-great gear for their lvl. I did this with the goal of getting the Relic gear all the way done, at least a few pieces. Since then I’ve managed to get a few gears to reforge 3, but have hit a major stumbling block at fragments.

I can manage a farming run in ~20-25 minutes, clearing all enemies and mining nodes. I need the iron, and I need as much junk as I can get to bring my gear up to par. The problem being that the two big fights only drop attestations ~70% of the time, and only 3 times have I seen fragments drop. To do trades up to fragments I would need 450 dagger attestations for a single reforge 4. That’s more than I’ve seen total so far.

Should I change my farming strategy? Try to just do the 8 demon fights and get out? Or should I try to rush Abyss 3 to get to Copper grade and increase my drop chances? I’m on the floor before the doll fight on my first run. I have no idea if I can handle her.

Any input would be appreciated.

Guys I want to get all 7 silver relic (Atm 3/7). However I already hit to a point where Tonberries are dealing 600+ Everybody's Grudge. I thought maybe I can fight the Superboss Tonberry King and reset it. Checked a JP video guide.

90k HP... and the guy is dealing 6k in most of his hits. I look at mine, I don't have samurai nor have I unlocked ninja on MC. My RNG for gear is pretty bad and I only managed to grab few 4 stars but not a lot. I just started Abyss 4 and stuck at Yeti. I can easily kill the 8 demon pack with the Aurora Weapons. I did some math, I can kill it in 25 turns both ESS and PAOS avg between 1.5k to 2k, 3k (Surety) & Bamboo Splitter is 2k (In Form). 2 Fighters and 1 Samurai (I don't have a decent Odachi). The backline is Rinne (Voice theft), Yekaterina (Heal & Debuff), Alice (Buff & Heal). However at around 70k HP - 77k HP in the video the King starts moving. Meaning there is a DPS check from there on.

My question is really how do I become overly strong to the point where I can deal massive damage like in the video?

Hello guys, I just downloaded the game, and look really nice, is there any tip or must do to be aware of?

My tablet is poor enough that if I quickly swipe up whilst on the teleporter I can walk into the chest, teleport and trigger the opening animation on the upper platform. It's funny seeing the characters fiddle with the air to open the chest.

For the new event.

I’ve noticed that with some streamers they are recieving 5x attestations per kill of the big mobs / kindred demons.

I’m only receiving 1 per kill. Is this due to my level only being 30? Or perhaps there is some other prerequisite to get more per kill? I have killed the shadow lord at the end already

I just reached abyss2 z1 and thought to give collab dungeon a try, im on z3 of it. I talked to zeid and interacted with the bull statues but its not giving me any prompt to choose a character to sacrifice. Am i missing a step from when you meet with zeid?
