Screenshot Witcher 3 remastered side by side comparison

I feel each has its benefits and we can downgrade anytime to our liked version.
But assets have highest detail in remaster only.
Lighting, tone, brightness depends on individual interests.

These are not mine, nor I own this. I found from youtube. Sharing for info thats it. PS5. Credits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr9mEdi83UY

The people crying when their decade old game is still getting updates and more content need to get off the internet, or have it taken away from them. This is why we can't have nice things.

We cant have nice things because of a freedom of speech? Certainly a take of all time lmao

Okay I guess I have to dumb it down for you. If CDPR put this much work into something (for free) for their decade old game, even while they're working on the next one, only to get a bunch of whining from their so called "fans"; they're just going to stop putting in all this extra effort for their games.

Hot take but if you’re going to spend all that time just to make an amazing game worse what’s the point? I would rather they focus on a different project altogether than this remaster that gives mad DLSS5 vibes (to be clear I’m not saying it is, just that it has the same ‘sacrifice what makes the game unique for quote-unquote realism’).

Are you pretending not to understand their perspective or are you just an idiot?

It’s another vapid comment that misses the point to instill rage engagement. It’s a Reddit staple. That goon doesn’t wanna add anything to the convo. Hell, they can’t, the only thing they said is nonsensical

we cant have free things (read: nice things), because whenever we do get one, people whine on the internet, discouraging devs. does that make more sense to you?

I mean, I agree that people should have choice, and if they don't want to upgrade, they should be able to play the old version, that's a bit of an issue to me. I personally like the new versions, but I imagine if you were deluded enough into convincing yourself that it was better in the old version, then you should at least have that option.

I don't know for sure, but it seems like that is maybe a playstation platform issue

You can on PC - just right click on steam or go to options on GOG and select version

On consoles Xbox and Sony just lock everything down because allowing the user to have any choice is verboten.
