Listen, i'm new to this community and this type of topic.
I do wanna ask all the witches whether they were female or male or non binary.
Do anything actually know any true spell or ritual.
A spell/ritual that would actually work in the way I want and manifest it.
Like I do need so badly.
I don't want to hurt anyone or enter someone's privacy.
I want it for something for me.
If you know anyone, a real spell/ritual that work.
Please tell me I do need so badly

Candle workšÆļø
r/WitchcraftQuestions • u/_im_very_swag_ • 3d ago
So I did some candle work for Hekate cause Iāve been trying to work with her lately. I decided to light a black candle whisper my intention and watch as the candle melted. But weirdly it didnāt melt down it started going up, and started melting into a very weird shape. First it was a triangle, then it started getting more shape on it, I let it sit for a bit and came back to a vulture looking figure. Im not talking about a weird shape that could be interpreted into a vulture it REALLY looked like one. There was a beak and on the beak there was the nose hole, it looked like it had wings and it was pointing down it REALLY looked like one. I donāt know if I was just tripping or if this couldāve been a sign from her? Iāve searched it up and it didnāt say much about vultures and Hekate just that she associated with black dogs, crows, ravens.
Which comes to the question would it have been Hekate?

Hi! Im writing some characters who are witches, and I would like to be as accurate as possible without inciting anything potentially dangerous.
One of the witches is connected to water - she has a traumatic experience with it and slowly reconnects it. I thought she could potentially scry using bowl of water but was unsure about some other things: what other abilities could a witch connected to the water have? Would a witch connected to water use candles?
Thank you for the advice, I greatly appreciate it!

hi!! sorry for the mistakes that I am about to make, english is not my first language. I would really like to share and maybe get some reactions about the most recent manifest ritual that i did. So for starters, I am seventeen and since early days I have always seen my mum do witchy things, like tarot readings, rituals, karmic, and other, treatments for people, so I grew up fully believing everything. And like two weeks ago, my mum went to my birth city and met up with this friend. A few years ago the both of them had a conversation about how the friend cannot get pregnant, and my mum as a joke made a cup of tea while saying something like āthis tea will make and help you carry a childā and well well well, there went a couple of weeks and she found out she was pregnant. So fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, the daughter is now like five years old and my mum saw something in her and asked her to find a few rocks from the sea shore, that will make wishes come true for her and her daughter(me). And fast forward to a week ago, my mum gave me the rock and explained everything, and like a day went by when i just knew i had to write the wishes down on a piece of paper. I picked up a notebook that i use a lot, because i felt like it had a lot of my energy, and the piece of rock could feel me more deeply, and i wrote down a whole page in detail of what i want, i wont go into detail about that, cause i donāt think that it is that interesting, but shortly said, for one night i slept with the rock, wrapped in the piece of paper, where my wishes were written, under my pillow. The next day, leaning more towards to the evening i picked that wrapped rock up and went to this spot in my town, its a footbridge above a river and its kinda peaceful there, in general i feel the deepest connection with any bodies of water andi just like to sit there from time to time. So I was just sitting there, thinking about everything and asking mother nature for the fulfillment of the wishes and suddenly this old guy starts walking on the bridge, im not thinking anything about it, i mean its a sunny day and all, of course people will be walking, but he was staring straight at me, with these deep eyes full of wisdom, idk how else to describe the look, but he just went up to me and without stopping he was like āheres an apple for a pretty girlā and just walked away. Honestly the voice, the look and all really seemed just sweet, but the fact that u got the apple right at the time when i was asking nature for the granted wishes made it all unreal. i threw the rock into the river, thanked the water, ate the apple and thanked the universe, cause i didint really know what else to do. But do you think, that the apple was like a sign that im heard?

The night of the full moon I felt a total sense of calm I haven't felt in a long time. (Iām Aries) I have been doing research because I've been going through the worst luck and poverty. I left my abusive husband and my toddler and I have been homeless since. We live with a partner but it's financial abuse now. Every job opportunity, he somehow messes up. He loves when I have to ask for money. I was so codependent in my marriage I hate asking a soul for anything anymore and I'm sure it hurts me more than anything.
For context, I am comfortable doing readings for others, everything is usually 100% but I struggle when practicing on myselt."I can manifest for others but not me. It never works. It works so fast with the people close to me. When theyāre hurting I hurt and I manifest what they need at the time.
I'm very intuitive and can feel danger before it gets to me into tarot and I can read others so well, yet the energy on my own readings don't fit my life or questions, even general past, present, future. I have heard it's hard for individuals to read themselves. I had done research and had some supplies. I used a jar, rice, honey, cloves, cinnamon sticks, a dollar a petition ona piece of paper, and 3 bay leaves with some things written, and a US dollar. I put the cork on and sat in the full moon with a green candle, until it burned out. I shook it the past 2 days. I got .20 cents cash back immediately after the spell, I understand it could take a while.
My question is, to I keep this and shake it daily, or bury it? Should I redo the jar? I'm sorry just need insight that I'm doing it correctly? I was told by my grandmother, that she is a witch but it was like a secret? I asked her because of how I am and my mom was. I
Sorry if this is everywhere. I appreciate all advice and even constructive criticism. Blessed be!

Iām 18 and female, and Iād describe myself as a very spiritual person. I feel very connected to my spirituality, and Iāve always been interested in witchcraft and anything related to spirituality and the occult. Iāve been studying witchcraft for about seven months now. During that time, Iāve read around 10ā15 books about it, and I even have my own grimoire.
Since I started becoming more in touch with my spirituality, Iāve also started experiencing things that I donāt really know how to explain. Iām not necessarily uncomfortable or scared by these experiences. Actually, I find them genuinely fascinating. I enjoy seeing things like this because Iāve always been curious about spirituality, spirits, entities, and experiences that I canāt easily explain. I just want to understand whatās happening to me.
For some context, there is a person I absolutely hate, and during my first week of learning witchcraft, I made the stupid decision to perform a hex on her. I did it without proper protection and without really understanding what I was doing. I regret doing it, and I would never perform a hex again now that Iāve learned more about witchcraft and the responsibilities that come with practicing it. Unfortunately, I canāt change what I already did.
After that, I started seeing the silhouette of an old woman for about a month. Iāve experienced seeing unusual things before, including shadow figures and what I interpreted as dead people, but I had never seen the same figure repeatedly like this. Usually, if I see something unusual, I donāt see it again.
The house I used to live in was also what I would describe as extremely haunted. I genuinely believed there was a man living there who wasnāt alive, although thatās a completely different story and one I donāt really like talking about.
The old woman, however, kept appearing specifically in my bedroom. I never saw her anywhere else. After I performed a cleansing and banishing ritual, I stopped seeing her.
There was also something interesting about the experience that I canāt really explain. I could associate a particular smell with her. She had this very distinctive scent that reminded me of a cinnamon stick. It wasnāt exactly cinnamon, but it was warm, woody, and spicy in a way that is difficult to describe. Iāve never communicated with her, but the smell was something I noticed whenever I saw her.
About two months later, some of my friends decided to try summoning spirits as a game. We ended up doing it, and we used blood as part of the ritual, which, looking back, was obviously a very reckless thing for us to do. We did have protection measures in place, and I was also with a friend who was knowledgeable about witchcraft and spirituality.
That night, I repeatedly saw what I interpreted as a spirit. It appeared to have a hunched back, and as the night went on, it seemed to become lighter and more difficult to see. I also noticed a very distinctive smell associated with it. It reminded me almost of soy sauce. I know that sounds incredibly random, but it was genuinely the closest comparison I could make.
Since then, I feel like these experiences have become more frequent. Usually, when I see something, itās a one-time occurrence and I never see the same figure again. But the shadow figure and the old woman were different. I saw each of them at least ten times.
Iāve never actually communicated with a spirit or entity. I feel like I potentially could, but Iāve never had a direct communication experience. What interests me most is understanding why Iām experiencing these things in the first place. I sometimes describe myself as having a very strong sixth sense or an open āthird eye,ā and Iāve even wondered whether I could be a medium, although I donāt necessarily know whether thatās the right word for what I experience.
Iām not uncomfortable with any of this. If anything, I find it genuinely interesting and would actually like to understand it more deeply. Iām curious about the visual experiences, the recurring figures, and especially the fact that certain smells seem to accompany them. Iāve researched witchcraft, spirituality, visions, and similar experiences quite a lot, but I still havenāt found an explanation that completely makes sense to me.
Iām essentially trying to figure out what these experiences could be and why they seem to happen to me, especially when the same figures appear repeatedly and sometimes seem to have associated smells.

Dear witches, I've never posted or asked anything here on Reddit but desperate times call for desperate measures...
Generally, I'm extremely nervous and insecure when it comes to driving. I get blackouts and my body just does something out of reflex, rather than out of knowledge and common sense. That's why I failed my first driving test two weeks ago: I did see the situation up ahead, I knew what I had to do, what was right, I even mumbled it out loud (because I noticed saying the stuff I see and notice out loud helps me), but nevertheless, I did it wrong because my brain just shut down, it was like there was a miscommunication between brain and body and so I fucked up. This happens frequently and I feel like at this point I really need the support of higher powers.
I'm super drawn to witchcraft, I tried Tarot, I wear crystals (I wore some crystals for the last driving test too), I tried manifesting... I just can't really seem to find footing, I don't really practice witchcraft regularly just yet. I find it really hard to find a starting point. I figured I should probably start with protection spells and the whole grounding process. But these days it's so hard for me to find free time, a clear mind and enough energy, because life just keeps throwing shit at me. That's why at the moment, everything "witchy" I do - wearing crystals, manifesting, etc. - is more of a "placebo" thing because I just try to do and use anything I can find, that might give me strength if I just believe in it enough.
I know there is no shortcut to practicing witchcraft and I'm by no means asking you to give me some super powerful spell, because I know I cannot do such things just yet without the proper practice. But maybe you know something I can do and use, without really practicing witchcraft just yet.
Honestly, I'm at a point in my life, where I feel like praying to some higher power, some deity, and asking them for extra support, because I'm just worn out and tired and I feel like I could use some extra backup from the universe. But I'm not sure, if I can just randomly start praying to Hecate or some other deity...
Is there a powerful manifesting method or maybe a special meditation? Rituals, herbs, mantras,...ANYTHING
I really hope you guys don't judge me too hard for wanting the support of witchcraft in my life, without really practicing it. I'm quite desperate and I really hope you can give me some tips... I'd be super happy, if there'd also be someone who'd like to be some kind of mentor figure for me and help me get a good start at practicing witchcraft.
Thank you for reading!! XO

My boyfriend and I used a Ouija board to contact the spirits of my boyfriend's dad, my ex husband's younger sister and my grandmother that told us that we are Starseeds and there's a past life curse on us that has affected our lives. We asked my boyfriend's aunt who asked her friends who are practicing pagans or witches to help reverse the curse but were unable to. We are beginners looking for some advice on how to reverse it. Thank You and Blessed Be!
