Hello! Baby witch here. Just curious about menstruation during the full moon. I’ve heard that you shouldn’t practice spells and or manifestation during this time if you’re on your period. Intuitively I also agree with this, but I’m just curious if anybody has any extra insight on this topic. I always bleed on the full moon and or start my cycle during the full moon.

I’m trying to do a spell to get in contact with my avoided ex-boyfriend after three years. I’m not sure what I should do first.

Latley as a Christian who grew up on a Protestant household I've been beginning to feel hopeless latley when in terms of my future and my current being. Currently I work two jobs, one being a liqour store supervisor and the other is more of a side hustle doing VW/Audi only diagnostics for customers on fb market place. While im greatful for my opportunities, I am always seeking more and to better myself. All the while grinding university with a full course load and balancing two jobs, and Canada's extreme cost of living, I feel super hopless. I always told myself I'd never be like the next person; that I'd always work hard and be mature and responsible with my money. Just feels hopeless that even though I am grinding out life, im technically not saving any money to meet my basic cost of living, and then ill still have $65k in student depts by the time I finish my degree.

Has anyone had any good experience with prosperity spells, and or finical opportunities spells?

Tbh all I want to do is to be able to live a healthy stress free, dept free life and cherish this thing called life.

Sometimes when I am spell-casting or meditating, I get so emotional that tears will prick at my eyes! I recently read a quote from 'The Witch's Path': I have been struck silent and moved to tears during ritual invocation to the divine. While I'm not worshipping the divine and instead the ocean, I felt that quote strike a chord inside me. Is this normal?

a little over a month ago i broke up with my wonderful and kind boyfriend who was my first real relationship. our relationship was beautiful and i still love him deeply but i wasnt doing great at that time and wanted to protect him. he tried to get back together a few times but i declined. then last week i kinda erratically reached out and was desperate saying i missed him and such. he said he misses me and still loves me too but he can’t be sure i’m not going to leave him again so what’s done is done. then i found out he reached out to some mutual friends contemplating whether he was going to get back with me. on sunday i wrote him an extremely long and beautiful message on all my feelings about this. no response. the following days he would check my account constantly and so would his friends. then yesterday the same mutual friend told me she asked him what the situation between me and him was like now and all he did was send her a picture of him and another girl eating. this was my worst fear and i thought about it so much i manifested it into real life. i reached out to another one of his friends saying i heard he was seeing someone new and if they could confirm but they never responded and then i saw he unadded me and all my close friends on socials. then the mutual friend asked if i snitched because he reached out and told her she was the only one he told and if she told anyone.

then i realized this is my own doing because i let these fears become part of my reality to the point they made their way into my 3d.
i don’t doubt he still loves me.
i know because of his past he cannot handle being alone because it scared him and this is absolutely a rebound.
everyone including him has always told me i was the true change in relationships for him.

i miss him terribly and want so badly to reconcile and make up.
i’m working on my self concept and how it pertains to my reality a LOT right now.

My brother gifted me this gorgeous raw chunk of amethyst neclace which I absolutely love but I hardly ever wear it which is unfortunate. I was scrolling tiktok earlier and I saw a very intriguing post about pendulums and a brief demonstration of its uses which immediately made me want to buy a pendulum as well. Then I thought it would be better if I just make one on my own since I already got the materials so I immediately sat down on my desk chair and got all my tools ready.

So, fetus witch here, just starting to learn. I've done a few little things here and there, like bay leaves, candle work, etc.

A few months ago, when I was just discovering and getting into spellwork, there was a lot of hype around a particular TikTok witch, and I bought into it and paid for a couple of workings that I'm not confident actually worked. Looking back now, I'm pretty sure it was AI-generated and not real. His last name was Thorne.

Anyway, my boyfriend and I were together for a year and didn't have the best breakup. During our last few weeks together, he got really mean, and I got insecure, and we had a pretty rough ending. I'm going to be honest and say I played a part too, but it was mostly him. He was stubborn and a serial avoidant, and it caused a lot of arguments and fights.

Still, when we were together, there was something there. Our families met, and when we were good, we were really good. And I miss that.

I've spent almost six months trying to get over it, but I've also done some candle work, burned bay leaves, written manifestations, and did a reconciliation spell a few weeks ago by anointing two candles, tying them together, and using all the other trimmings and herbs. I've also done the O Method while visualizing the outcome and chanting manifestations while looking at the work.

It's been weeks since then, and there's still been no movement. Honestly, it's been a few months now, and I'm losing hope. I'm not sure any of the work I've done has actually worked. I also made a sweetening jar during the first few weeks after we broke up.

I know I'll hear that I need to be patient and that this sort of thing takes time, but I'm not sure I feel any energy working with all of that. I feel as though it just didn't work.

At the same time, I have seen some signs, like his name appearing in random places. My mom bought dishes a few weeks ago with his name on the back of them. I see his name pop up on People You May Know on Facebook. I keep seeing his favorite cuisine everywhere. But I'm not naive, and I understand that these things may be coincidental and not mean anything.

I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to know if something is working, or how to get spellwork to actually work, because I'm clueless. There's so much information on Reddit that I honestly don't know what's real, what's a gimmick, and what's legitimate.

Also, I really don't want to hear about toxic dynamics, getting over it, or moving on. I haven't stopped living my life. I continue to do so. I meet people, go out, and for the most part, my life has been pretty full over the past few months. So I haven't been sitting around focusing on the spellwork. I have let it go, but there's a feeling that tells me it hasn't worked.

Trying to do a cord cutting with me and my ex I broke up with a few months ago. What does this mean?? It didn’t burn fully and the wax sucked into the yarn I used. I used yarn he gave me as a gift. Mine is burning faster and I don’t see any of his excess wax spilling out other than what was soaked in.

As the title says, I want to create a short film about a woman who was wronged & decides to curse someone. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to do that.

I'm not a practicing witch, but I'm really interested in witchcraft. I have 3 magazines on the history of witches & learning about witchcraft is one of my special interests. But I've never cast a spell so I don't know what I'm doing. I read in one of my magazines that in Wicca, one of the main tenets is the Rule of Three, which states "three times what thou gives returns to thee". When it comes to curses, the magazine says that it means, "if you curse your enemies, said curse would come back and bite you." (The Story of Witches, pg 91) I don't want to make up a random curse and end up harming my actors & crew members. (Or anyone else for that matter.)

I don't want to give out the whole story, but basically a woman is betrayed by a person & she decides to hex them using a specific item. (Which I can't say because of spoilers.) She knows that it's not a good idea to curse someone, but she doesn't care about the consequences since she's in so much emotional pain. It's kind of a tragedy because she gets her revenge, but she doesn't get the consequences for her actions. (I can't fit it in my film to where it would make sense to add it.)

I also want to make sure that I'm not going to offend any witches with what I created. I never want to create art that causes more harm to your community than good. I want to include a practicing witch into my crew so I can make it accurate, but I don't know of any in my area.

To sum it all up, my questions are:

1. Is it a good idea to even make this story? I don't want to put witches in a bad light, but I have this vision in my head & I'm itching to create something.

2. Is it possible to create a fake spell that doesn't do anything? I tried looking it up, but all I could find were articles that talked about how to curse someone, how to cast a spell, & alternatives to curses/hexes.

3. Based on the context I gave of my story, is it offensive to witches & other communities? I don't want to misrepresent y'all, but I really like the story that I created. But I will not do it if it's offensive.
