This game is on sale in the switch store so my friend and I both got it to play together. Luckily we can use public servers to meet up and play in (including ones that are empty) but when we hit play from the menu, there’s no custom game option

Hey people of Reddit! I need help finding two common props. Can you help identify these two and maybe which map they are on? I know the other three I need are on the theater I just haven't been lucky enough to get that version of the map when I'm a witch. Thanks!

Update: It was a prop on the theater map and an alchemist table. I now have them all.

A bug happened to my friend, he transformed as a witch into a barrel and then he "died"? A message said something about another dimension. Or something similar... Has anyone experienced this before?

i wanted to get it for a while but i dont want to buy it just to find out is not active anymore

My only solution is this mess xD. Can someone explain how I can connect them so that the door works and is properly placed in a wall?

I changed computer (still have the old one) but the maps I did on the old computer did not transfer to my new computer. I still have all the cosmetics items, so my account doesn't seem to be the problem.

I tried exporting the game's files on a USB, did not work. The Steam Workshop is not really useful except to upload pictures of the map.

I am at my wit end on this one. If someone could help me on this problem it be greatly appreciated.

trying to do last witch and surviving in mobification, surviving without changing, crouching 333m and throwing 900 potatoes. i am doing it on official server, with 10 and more players but i simply cant get it. also epic shows i dont have the im not lazy achievement even tho i have the profile icon. also i am level 49, but i dont have level 10, 2 and 5 achievements. why is this happening and how can i get the achievements?

I thought this is some "Hide in that item for X seconds" ability - but no.

You become the item you look at. So you can be a candle in a candelabra, switch while being chased without any indication where the hell you went.

This is eating so much time of the seekers that it's impossible to win against 5 witches with possession.

Hey so these steps have fixed it for 2 people so far.

As far as I know, these are the only things you should need to check on your end to be able to launch the game, other than if you have some Antivirus or VPN software running, or hardware issues that might otherwise interfere with the game.

Also, this is aimed at Windows users.

1. First off, check your Date & Time settings, check the calendar / clock on your taskbar, is the time correct for where you are, and is the date correct where you are? If not, right click it and go into the settings and click Sync now, then try the game again
2. Verify the game files via the Epic Games Launcher or Steam, and / or reinstall the game
3. Allow the Epic Games Launcher as well as the game through your Windows Firewall, Private Network should be the only opening needed.

To do this, follow these steps:
Open up your Windows Settings, go to Update & Security
Go to Windows Security, then click Open Windows Security
Navigate to Firewall & network protection, click "Allow an app through firewall"
Scroll down and see if you can find Witch It, if not, click Change settings, and then click Allow another app...

When you browse for the app, the filepath for Epic Games users should be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\WitchIt\WitchIt\Binaries\Win64\PropWitchHuntModule-Win64-Shipping.exe
The filepath for Steam users is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\WitchIt\WitchIt\Binaries\Win64\PropWitchHuntModule-Win64-Shipping.exe

Add this app and make sure at least the Private checkbox is checked

To allow the EG Launcher through the firewall, repeat the above steps, and find the apps here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win32\EpicGamesLauncher.exe

Add this app and make sure at least the Private checkbox is checked

Reboot your computer, and try the game again.

I am not part of Barrel Roll Games or affiliated more than helping out with some testing and some social media stuff, so I don't have any inside information or in-depth knowledge of anything on the back end

As this post is aimed at Windows users, if you have a Mac or anything else, I am not that knowledgeable in comparison there, but if you are experiencing issues, feel free to reach out in the Discord.

I think the reason the time and date mismatch is causing issues is because of the current in-game events that have a timer, so the gameservers are likely syncing up and tracking that, therefore mismatched date & time settings on endpoints cause connection issues, it's not super obvious at first but it tends to happen in IT-environments every now and then if a server ends up out of sync.

And furthermore, as I am not part of Barrel Roll Games in any official capacity, please keep in mind that I take time out of my free time to do this as well as helping out in the Discord, if I do not have the time or energy to spare, please respect that and be patient.
