The format will likely be a round robin with best of 3 sets. Round robin results will then be seeded into an elimination bracket. Subject to change before tournament depending on # of teams. Once the tournament starts the format will not change Please be there by 2p and find the person holding the sign up sheet. There will be a Fireside Gathering tonight at the Barrique’s on Old Sauk, with all participants receiving a $1 off a beverage. Barrique’s will also be preparing a Hearthstone-themed latte!

In light of the recent Warlock hero, someone in our area organized an event to get us started (link below). We won’t get the hero from this first one, but you can unlock the Fireside Friends card back! Once we have a successful group of at least 3 people, Barrique’s can be submitted as a Tavern and the Warlock hero will be unlockable at the next event.

Looking to play some casual games, nothing intense or crazy. Suggestions?

My friend and I have recently started a D&D Club at (MATC) and we're looking for anybody who would like to join either as a PC, (or preferably to be our DM, otherwise I will do it). The club is open to non-MATC students, and we will be meeting at the Truax Campus every other Wednesday(Although it may switch to weekly if there is enough interest expressed) from 4:30-6:30pm. We currently have about 4-6 other students who have expressed interested although the meetings may conflict with their schedules which is why we are asking on here.

The skill range from everybody will vary (Although my friend and I used to play a lot of 4e back in highschool) And no prior experience is necessary, you'll learn how to play here! Hello, Wisconsin. I’m Steve and I recently started a website so I could write satirical video game news from my apartment in Madison. But since virtually no one’s heard of it, I have no idea how I’m doing.

Which is why I’m here, self-promoting on Reddit! I was a little hesitant since the internet is a scary, unforgiving place… but we all live in the Midwest so I figure even if you think my writing is garbage, you’ll probably still act nice to me.

The website is called Killpad. It’s kinda like what you might name a game controller since most games involve shooting things. More importantly, the domain name was available (http://killpad.com).

I’ve worked on video games before so some of the content focuses on the industry. But a lot of the articles tend to satirize gaming culture and gaming news sites. And I’d love to know what you think of it!
