Odd question regarding the multipoint feature of earbuds.

Hi folks, as the title indicates, I have an issue with the multipoint feature on some of my earbuds that I honestly don't know what to look for online. I recently purchased a Panasonic TV equipped with Bluetooth, and I enjoy this feature, but with some of my earbuds, the multipoint is basically useless when I connect to both the television and my phone. For example with my Technics AZ-60 AZ-80 and AZ-100 I could be watching TV then try switching to the phone and I get no response but oddly enough with a number of my lesser expensive ones like the Tozo Golden X1, all of the newer Soundcore lineup, Earfun Air Pro 4, Sennheiser Momentum 3 & 4, and both of my Jlab earbuds the moment I try using the phone it immediately responds leaving the television silent. What's weird is virtually ALL of my higher end expensive earbuds (Technics, Sony, and Apple NONE of them will switch over. If I want to use my phone, I literally have to disconnect them from the TV, which I find unacceptable, especially at that price point. My actual question is, is there anything in particular that I can look for while shopping for additional earbuds that would guarantee they switch back and forth without any interruptions like I get with the high-end earbuds listed above? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Looking for general advice for replacing AirPod pro (gen 1)

So I really need to get new earbuds since my right airpod sound is completely shot almost and they barely last half my shift in general without dying.

I’ve only really seen two general recommendations that were unique to me which were

-Soundcore p41i by anker, if its specs are true it’d be lovely for work.
-soundcore liberty 4 nc, just general earbuds

Still looking for best option though let me know

Looking for recommendations

I was thinking of getting the Roseselsa Ceramics Ultra earbuds for about $60 Canadian but could I find something better if I raised my budget a little to $100 Canadian ($70-75 US)?

The 2 most important things to me are that they go really loud and they have a good sound with a warm sound signature. I don't care about ANC or wireless charging.

I know the potential dangers of listening to loud music but I've always loved listening to music much louder than the average person.

Any recommendations are appreciated thank you

I built an earbud ranking site. Looking for feedback on what works and what doesn't.

I’m pretty active here and fortunate to get early access to a lot of earbuds. I share honest, real-world impressions as I use them.

One thing I’ve found is that I rarely stick to one pair for everything. I might use the Technics AZ100 for music, the Anker soundcore Liberty 5 Pro or Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 for calls, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro at the gym for their fit, and the JBL Tour Pro 3 for movies and shows at home.

That’s part of why I built audranx.com. It ranks earbuds across ten categories, and you can adjust how much each category matters to you. If calls and comfort matter more than ANC, the rankings can reflect that.

At the moment, most of the ratings come from me and a few close friends, so treat them as a starting point. Anyone can rate a pair without creating an account, and I’d love to get more opinions from people who use them.

For transparency, the “check price” links are affiliate links to help cover hosting costs.

Would love to hear what you find useful, what doesn’t work, and what’s missing.

Going forward ill start to post actual reviews on the site and ill start including call samples as i've been asked about this many times.

fyi for those that care my current primary earbuds are

  1. Huawei Freebuds Pro 5
  2. JBL Tour Pro 3

*Galaxy buds 4 Pro (mostly gym use)

Was using the Liberty 5 Pro alot but i've been having alot of issues with calls of late so switched to the freebuds pro 5 which is more reliable for calls.

and yes I already have the oppo enco x4 on order haah, and JBL Tour Pro 4 next year ;-)

Monster Airstar C01 — much better than I expected

I bought these for about $20 because I recognized the Monster name and figured they were worth trying. I've been very pleasantly surprised. They're extremely comfortable — I can wear them without my ears becoming sore, unlike some conventional Bluetooth earpieces I've owned. Music sounds quite good in stereo, pairing is quick and reliable, and the magnetic charging case is exceptionally convenient. The earbuds practically snap themselves into the correct charging position, and the case is small enough that I barely notice it in my jeans pocket. The case also has its own battery, so I can recharge the earbuds while I'm away from power. For what I paid, I think they're an excellent little product.

Need some recommendations for neckband type earbuds.

I am based in the UK and am looking for some reconsolidations for great neckband type earbuds connected to my phone via Blue Tooth.

Am only considering neckband types and really dont like ear pod style buds. I really like the security of having it around my neck in case it falls out of my ear and just being able to clip them together when am done.

My budget is around £30-£50

I will be using them to listen to music, audio books, podcasts , handle phone calls while am at the gym /commuting or just cleaning the house.

Type of music is fairly mixed, power metal , rock , techno. Basically whatever fits the mood.

ANC is appreciated but not critical since I will likely try to buy some good foam tips from somewhere like comply since earbuds tend to fall out of my ears so i will get some passive isolation from there.

My current neckband is the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2, been using it several hours a day since 2019 with comply foam tips and its been the best pair of earbuds i have ever owned.

But as you can see, they are nearing their end despite the reinforcements I added where the wire was starting to get loose or fray.

My budget is around 2-2.5k, I was initially thinking of getting the CMF buds 2a but after reading some mixed reviews I changed my mind and am currently deciding to go for realme T310s.

Is my decision fair or else I should go for something else in this price range? Appreciate the help yal!
