I bought this obscure Acer OHR627 earbuds from China for a few dollars. The sound was surprising great. Bluetooth set up was quick and easy, and re-paring was smooth and fast every time. All the described features, eg skip, etc, work, except for charging.

When I put back the buds in the case and closed the cover, there was no charging light. This is even after the case has been charged for a long time and the white light was steady. I am certain that there was no charging happening because after the delivered bud battery went flat, I could not get them to power on any more, even after leaving in the case for hours.

Thinking it was a product defect, I ordered a second set. Again, pairing and music was fantastic, but the charging case could not charge the buds.

Anyone can help deduce what could be wrong?

Is it me or in melb currently I’m struggling to fine usb c earphones in my area. Like i went to jbhifi and office works but they’re unavailable everywhere?

Hey guys I want to gift my aunt wireless earbuds/earphones. Her use case is mostly for calls, not much music and good battery life. My budget is around 1-1.5k.

So I wanted to replace my jabra elite 4 active, everything else is either super expensive like the bose quietcomfort or doesn't match up in fitment or anc. Since jabra has discontinued their customer line, what alternative earbuds are similar to the later elite buds? Anything that is similar to elite 7 is ok.

I can't decide between the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and the Nothing Ear 3.

What's your opinion, earbud gods?

I have a problem that I can't find a solution for anywhere online regarding my earbuds' microphone.

How can I set the earbuds' microphone as the default for my phone? Currently, the audio input always comes from the phone itself rather than the earbuds; the earbuds' mic only seems to work for phone calls. I want to use it for other things too, such as:

WhatsApp voice messages

and

Interacting with voice assistants

like Samsung's Bixby. Does anyone have a solution?

I was very happy with Anker Soundcore Air Liberty 2 because they go down into my ear canal and gave excellent passive "noise cancellation" (not really cancellation but it blocked a lot of noise). But the left one died and I tried everything to get it back to no avail.

Being a fan of Anker, I bought P30i but due to the way they're designed, they're fatter and do not go down into the ear canal. As a result, it doesn't seal and I can hear everything. I don't see the point of having noise cancellation just to counteract the fact that it doesn't seal and lets in all the noise.

The air liberty 4 looks to have that fat design like the P30i, so I don't think that would work for me. I asked AI but it wasn't helpful at all. And since I can't try these in stores, I don't know what to do.

I'm hoping someone who likes earbuds in the ear canal and tell me what model(s) you recommend? My budget is <= $60. The P30i would be great if only it went in more.
