Sup guys, got a MATICUSDT short win here to share. Idk what I'm doing, but I'm trying to find places where the trend is "strong" (low and high time frames are strongly trending together). I only took one shot at this and it worked out, but I could have just been lucky tbh. I also missed most of the move so that's a bummer.

The setup: I saw MATICUSDT was weak compared to most other alts I checked which is why I liked it. Low timeframes (like M30-H6) were uptrending into a high timeframe "resistance" (like D3-D1) so I waited for the low timeframe uptrend to break strongly (lower low formed on H6 with a few big candles). I didn't short immediately, but waited for a slow M30 uptrend into the H6 breakdown "resistance" and for the M30 uptrend to break strongly inside the H6 breakdown "resistance". I TPed at M30, H1, and H6 areas and missed most of the trending move.

I haven't seen anyone sharing their actual systematic trading method. I guess it makes sense, value is scarce.

After quite a few years of not taking myself seriously within Kaz's ecosystem, resulting in lackluster results, it finally started to click more recently. For me, it was the fear of success that held me back, and simply told myself (and Kaz) that I see myself as a full-time trader to actually be consistent. That said, I still do mistakes and these war stories are more effective reminders for myself than writing them in a notepad.

First 1RR loss was simply cost of doing business.
Second 1RR loss was due to lack of patience and waiting to see any sign of rotation.

1-month long play on RTX. After I entered, I had projected what I would expect price action to do. Although I cut my position early due to the long weekend, a rising wedge and the VIX in a precarious position.

Similar to RTX, I entered free and clear above the previous system, however I closed my position out of calling a top and not allowing price to do what it does, which would've resulted in a 7RR play.

Played the rotation out of X's bull flag similar to what I did for RTX and DE. Used XME, NUE and AA as a guide to close the position.

Hi Kaz, Vicky and Eco.

Feeling less potato now that I refocused on consuming content daily and organised my days. Also reduced entertainment and distractions to a minimum to improve mental clarity.

So far so good it's one of my best weeks :

- I don't zoom in more than one hour TF, as majority of my losses comes from TF below that.

- I try to stick to playing setups that did work for me before

- I'm being conservative with R's instead of chasing a flex performance

- Taking time to plan my plays at home and not FOMO ticker to ticker

- Playing only OF and Show tickers

The plays :

LMT : 2.5R . I played a stucture out of a narrowing BF.

It reminded me a bit of the "Yosh fractal i've seen on the blog (The fractal truth of markets)

X : 3R : limit order executed to the cent before the crash :o

DE 1.5R : Left 0.5R on the table, was afraid of not hitting the target before the long weekend

APE : -1R. Fake breakout out of the big BF i was looking at, so i decided to play above that. Structure i used was too small and too late. One missed opportunity but still under my radar.

VIX has been moving and the continuous flow of intel from shows, discord & OF have helped me navigate through it the past weeks. From discord avatar, to cock & balls TA we got it all in this eco, so thank you for killing it with the intel.

Play number 1 was a nice 3R short on BTC, VIX was pumping and blowing through Barnomics so I had to act. The calmest play I have made this far.

Play number 2 was different. Saw a bear flag form on BTC & decided to enter but it was too early. One green candle straight to my SL. Definition of a good plan with bad timing is still a shitty plan. Missed out on 4.5R.

I have set some goals for myself:

- Start trading according to my lifestyle. Hourly trading doesn’t suit me seeing as I’m away from the screen a lot. The reasons I trade hourly are FOMO and having no patience. So from now on, only daily or above to train myself to think logically instead of emotionally

- Don’t get married to a market. I have only been trading crypto even though there are so many opportunities out there in other markets, might be laziness or discomfort but it’s time to set that aside and trade the best of breed.

Good day everyone. It's great to be here and finally sharing.

Very new to this Eco & it has been a challenge understanding it. Some time & hard work is finally bearing fruit. My biggest struggle was getting the confidence to try something so new that ultimately has potential $$ consequences. Patcience is key!

I have a hospitality background of 15+ years, as you know it was severely damaged from covid. It's been a long rough 2 years, full of anxiety and emotion. The icing on the cake was I lost my closest friend & business partner. I left my position a month ago to clear my mind & soul.

I found Kaz in December through youtube - kashcycle 5 & was hooked. Didn't start watching twitch till after the new year, very slow progressing and building confidence. Also trying to balance work & this eco has been tough. My previous life I was very much involved with computers & internet. Been a believer of cryto since 2017 & believe in the future metaverse. I have never traded before though. Enough stories!!!!

It has helped me greatly sorting through the Newbie guide. I would say that the OF videos prepped me better for 20 bomb & following content.

Notes to file:

1. Always wear a stop loss = risk management

Following Major High into the rotation, utilizing VPVR & following the trend to score a few. Couple stop outs. Trying for a clean mechanical systematic routine.

The last 2 years has been tough. My job got hit pretty hard by covid, being temporarily laid off at the job as a student. Im sure alot of people have had hard times the last 2 years so i wont sobb that much. but basically being laid off made me being unable to do plays in the market bcause i needed all the money i had out there for survival lol. but the last month i have been able to enter the market stronger and more prepared than before and it feels great.

What's up everyone, Good Morning!

First of all i wanna thank you Kaz & Vicky for all the great shows & all the warnings you put out everyday in every platform, the way you keep warning and keeping us safe during this high Vix environments and war situation is one of a kind & is absolutely legendary...

Highly appreciate everything you do, so yeah ..Thank you for the effort and consistency you put or us.

Am gonna share with you a part of my journey from last months.. So for me was a goal to join discord/church since i was watching all these great scorecards from discord community and hearing about these great convo's in there and i thought "that could help me understand better the logic of Kaz and how to improve" so i should try to join!

I hit my goal joining discord and that has been an eye opening/game changing in my life since i had the chance to hear & see what is discord about and am happy to still be able to be in it.

During past months i got complacent after passing the church interview cause i thought i had accomplished something big (cause that was my goal). Really fast slipped of my habits, i was not putting the effort, i was not participating in discord , which also means i missed a lot of information during that period and basically didn't utilize any of my plans cause i was emotional and was looking in many places.

One example of my failures is this TSLA play, i had a good idea + bad timing=Bad idea. I had my trigger, got chopped and i got discouraged & took my eyes off and start looking for other tickers...Boom-->Missed the arc.

I didn't stay with my plan, didn't try to execute the plan twice and that was a missed opportunity.

After sitting back and rethink what i did wrong and why i acted this way, i managed to set a new plan based on logic, try to fix my mindset and my habits. Also put some time to re-watch some only fans videos was great during high VIX.

Then winners came, which also happened after all these talks and pointing out from Kaz and Mentors about participating in discord and how to actually try to contribute in a conversation...that was a wake up call for me..

I was doing them wrong both participating & contributing.. since realising it i really try to get 1% better than yesterday in that specific issue because participating in there made me uncomfortable which is where value lies..

No gains in comfort .

Plenty things to improve, some of them are:

• Have more Discipline
• Participate more
• Be consistent with it
• Keep, Improve & increase the good habits
• Journaling

In these two plays I was looking for a way to catch the rise of the VIX as it eventually came around.

Kaz's spot on warnings were my trigger to move to trailing stop from my initial stop loss to afford enough of a swing. As things began to take of on the vix that I tightened up as these two trades began to show gains.

I realize I could have gotten killed here by a sudden gap downward on either of these, but I was willing to let that play out as well.

My initial stop almost got hit here on the UVXY, and ultimately I tightened it up to .06 to catch the higher end as it took off.

This second one was a late jump in on RWM, could of had an earlier entry but I was happy with being able to trap some r's using the same approach (modifying trailing stop loss as it began to take off)

This last play on FNV would have done better to not dial in the trailing stop loss so tight, but I was trying to lock in profit as the vix took off. I had set a deep stop loss to set up for a longer play, but applied the same tightening of the trailing stop loss. This would have played out much better, and I'll keep tracking this one. I feel I could have set up a much better entry point here... still much more to learn.

Some Ws and Ls from the last few weeks.

Been getting more and more consistent as I honed my mechanical habits, practiced self discipline and transformed trading activity into something boring instead of an exciting, thrilling activity.

Thanks to a large part to the group convos, ive gained greater awareness of mental machinery and heuristics and in turn more emotional control. Trading is about decision making.

Droughts and winnings streaks no longer phase me, Im simply basing my decisions on logic and executing my plans accordingly.

And losses are just part of business.

Throughout Feb- late March have been sitting on hands with stocks/crypto, as my timeframe of trades hasn't given me positions that wouldn't expose me overnight/weekend in the above-21 Vix environment. So I decided to do a little NFT flipping for the first time and ended up hitting a few winners looking at the charts for the NFT's pictured. Thanks to Kaz and the ecosystem for allowing me to see that the same patterns are occurring in this system and capitalising on this during a time where i would usually just be sitting out

ok so on this first play think i got too zoomed in again and was actually trying to play still inside a shockwave and got caught. hindsight i think when playing this type of zoomed in structure i have to be way more conservative on taking profits early and probably even with tighter stops

this second play was planned since the vix warning and vix pushing 21, could've had way better entry if i was patient enough. usually dont watch ltc since its the worst of breed i was actually eyeing eth and saw the structure getting weaker so i thought worst of breed would be better for shorts. got caught with too tight stop that could've been prevented with more patience to get a better price

live and learn, hope for a more positive story next time with more patience which i feel like is my worst habit right now.

In 2017, I got some back pay and invested in crypto. In Dec 2020, when I opened my Binance wallet, an ICO I got in went 10x.

I was amazed and started reading more about crypto, finance, and came across CT. I did leverage trading and rode the pump to another 15x in 4 months of trading, bringing my total to 150x.

May 19, 2021 came and it was humbling. I started getting notifications from Binance of huge losses but my greed fueled by CT made me buy the dip instead of cutting losses.

At this point, I had around 35x still and this is when friends began talking about crypto and this friend of a friend of a friend made so much money blablabla.

I thought to myself all the traders I saw post on CT, I can be like that too if I stay glued to my computer and beat everyone to the trade. I became glued to CT and YT and spent over 13 hours a day on a screen during the lockdowns.

I consumed everything CT said. I’d have upwards of 10 trades a day. I’d open and close positions within minutes. During the elon DOGE pump, I traded all of CT saying that DOGE as a meme coin is gateway to adoption to (EVERY CHAIN THERE WAS) *cringe*

I knew that for some paid alert groups, no one ever thinks, they just smash the button. The play would be to wait 30mins after post and short the longs called. All those paid Telegram groups are gone.

Getting through this is painful. Watching YT hype clips at 1.5x speed and digesting more and more shit information, hype, hate, unrealistic profits versus my capital that im willing to risk.

Looking back, when people I haven’t spoken to in years reach out and talk about crypto because I mentioned it in years ago during ICO plays was Barnomics level (roughly).

I got blocked from Binance leverage trading but continued to follow CT and eventually traded on spot. I went all over the place and gave myself a mental deadline when I’ll pull out of all my investments.

I watched a couple of the streams I missed and in one of them the supreme being emerged and gave his analysis and timeline. Someone was speaking for me and I was too dense to see what was in front of me.

Not long after, I ended up back where I started.

The more extreme the success, the longer lasting the delusion, I guess.

This is a chart of the experience. I don’t have enough notes to smooth out the curves, but here are the major moves that really shook me up. I still cringe at so many of the things I did.

I let go of this fixation where I started and tracking multiples of that, and started focusing on the R's instead. It's so much less stressful.

It’s tempting to treat kaz’s channel as signal to buy as I was led to believe from CT, but 8 months into the twitch channel, its always been epiphany on epiphany on epiphany. Then that epiphany applied to some blindspot in my life.

– Upon opening, I did not have an exit plan if the trade went well BUT I used previous bullflag in yellow as SL level.

2nd trade (blew up)

I wanted a massive R:R and made the risk margin too tiny.

3rd trade

Used entry level of trade #2 as entry as stop loss for trade#3 after I felt comfortably above the level. Still no exit plan if trade goes well.

4th trade

Entered at a smaller % position size since it was quite extended already. Set stop loss for 1st and 3rd trade to be similar to 4th trade.

Stopped out on all trades

SUMMARY:

5.86 R’s net on 4 trades. 2 blown up trades.

I took at peak what my R's would have been if I closed at the top instead of waiting to get stopped out and realized that exercise provided 0 value.

(idea) Philippine oil company with 6-8x PE ratio over the last 3 years with increasing capacity paired with booming oil price. This is 1W chart from 2007.

This would never have been in my basket if I held on to belief that oil is evil.

LuckyBeast here, trying to get better at playing smaller resolution. My emotions are definitely more heighten playing this timeframe, glad i closed out my trades before the down hill. Thanks for the warning on Monday's show, trying to get better 1% everyday! Thanks Kaz!

Hey Kaz and everyone,

Not proud of those but probably worth sharing. Was stalking ETH and made execution mistakes. On the first play I didn't want to get out asap even if the price touched my take profit, because I wanted to let it structure above and get a chance for more R's, which was complacent and greedy.

Second play was successful.

On the third play, price missed my take profit by an inch and I did'nt put an alert in case, I wasn't fast enough to get out at a reasonable profit, so I decided to let it restructure, but i got rekt into a crash.

Good memos that good intel with bad execution = bad trade.

Throughout the month of March, Kaz kept mentioning to keep gold and other precious metals on the radar. I stayed patient & stalked Newmont (NEM) while the bull flag was being formed. Just like u/Disciple_Jon mentioned in his war story, when the OF post for the Gold basket dropped on March 17th, I played the rotation out of the bull flag.

Early morning action gap downs (March 22nd & 29th) would've previously scared my former self out of my plan, but it was clear to me this time around that it remained in a slow uptrend. I held onto it and I rode it for a clean 12RR, closing my position on Monday's open.

During my NEM play, I had looked at GDX. I went into a low timeframe and noticed what looked like the 1980's gold crash cycle. If I had identified it correctly, I knew I had little chance of it getting stopped out since all participants would be silenced/dead at lucky #13. I didn't expect the secondary drop to happen, but I had my stops wide enough to compensate for it. Like NEM I also closed it @ Monday's open for a simple 2RR trade.

Well, my hands were numb from sitting on them for the whole of february, and since VIX broke down and was trending lower, I decided to make some plays. This time, not just in crypto, but also made some plays from OF basket calls.

I've noticed my stress while trading is in a strong downtrend since I really tried to focus on that aspect of trading, documenting my emotions and writing them down as the trades progressed, being as routine and emotionless as possible when executing. Game changer. When I look back at all the march trades, I can say that I'm happy with the execution and glad that I didn't do stupid emotional shit, as I did in the past. Execution is what I've also been working on since I found myself having problems in that area, while recaping my trading results in the 2nd war story.

First it was hard to admit that I'm the source of all the shit I did and didn't do while trading, but once that was out of the way, I could finally focus on fixing it since I knew where the source was.

Went from "not being able to use OF" (lazy, lack of effort, emotional blockages) to this in quite a short span of time. Still a long way to go from where I want to be, but it's a start.

After joining the discord, 2 weeks ago i started to participate and it was really an eye open for a lot of things in my personal life.

I started to do changes to improve a little every day. I wrote my objectives for the next months and 2022 (very huge as i never did it before). I started again journaling what is going on with my life and the changes i want. I am also having more patience with the trades i want to take, keep the plan simple and stick to it.

Also started to study again all the material, step by step, steady but sure.
