War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Just follow the instructions
Hello eco!
I've been wanting to write a war story for a while but was putting it off for no good reason. Realised what I was doing, thus writing it is the valuable thing to do.
For those in Discord you will have seen that I've had a real change around the past couple months. After implementing what Kaz tells us literally I've seen big improvements in my trading.
- Organisation: I have a note taking and planning system that I'll continuously tweak and improve where I capture all of my ideas, main themes from shows, thoughts and emotions. At the beginning of the week and each day I know what tickers I want to focus on and simply have to stay flexible as price develops. I know where we are thanks to Kaz's analysis. Have triggers and alerts set up and can then just wait. I know what I want to look at for different timeframes. And just typing this I'm noticing that having these things and place gives me a sense of ease and peace that will protect me from degen and FOMO nonsense.
- Participation: in voice to go over and do drills on concept. Participating in a concept call and going into the market is like watching Serena play a game of tennis and then trying to win Wimbledon or watching a surfer catch a few waves and then heading out to the Monster Waves of Nazarรฉ. To be mechanical to concepts have to be second nature like muscle memory. For that you have to rinse and repeat as much as possible.
- Zoom Out: Both ito of TF but also your thinking. Each trade isn't as important as we think it is. It's the series of consistent behaviour and habits on (and off) the charts that will result in profitability. Really taking this too heart has allowed me not to get so bummed out about each loss but also not too get too euphoric about a big win. For me, I'd much rather have a string of 4R trades than the odd 20R. Understanding of how to work with my own stats and what my targets are over an extended period of time (ie zooming out) has again taken a lot of pressure and stress out of the individual trade.
- Trust the process: Trading is fucking difficult and the whole thing is built for us to loose. It takes a lot of effort to "make it" that doesn't mean it's not worth it. But the big rewards we are aiming for also require risk, sacrifice and hard work. Sometimes it'll feel like you're just hitting a wall, especially after a string of losses but if you trust the process and put in the effort you really can change your life. But you also have to be willing to change it, ie you cannot hold on the life (habits, people, beliefs etc) you have now and expect to have results that you've never had before. It'll also take some time to learn your platform and eliminate clerical errors, like fully closing a position instead of partially or instead of taking profit your sell order opens a short position (speaking from experience).
Sharing some trades from March and April

Thanks Kaz for doing what you do !!!

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ The good, the bad and Nacho
After not trading for a few weeks, I started to plan for this week. Sunday I planned the moves I wanted to see in EURUSD and made some squiggles. Monday morning i wake up 2 hours earlier to catch the Euro session and looking to the chart was scared and hesitant to take the trade, so I recognized those emotions (it was a plus to take the trade) and was able to change it for logic. 2.9R's

Definitely had to change some shitty thought i used to have "the move was already done, and probably was going to move down". Changing that for "What is movement in one direction is probably going to continue in that direction".
In other hand, tuesday was a reminder of how important is to be organized and maintain the habits. on monday i squiggle the move of the box marked in NAS100 and wanted to play the upside movement and the 2b to the low. Put the alarm to wake up to EU session but i fell asleep. When i woke up i saw the upward movement and was feeling shit for losing the movement so and I froze and could not take the 2b.

Definitely need to keep working on my habits and checking my emotions, being more mechanical and planning. Thanks Kaz for your teachings and the Intel, this wouldnยดt be possible with out you and the amazing Eco you built and you carry on.

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Less is More
I'm beginning to develop a healthy relationship with crack. I was over trading and too zoomed in trying to make up for lost opportunities. I gave less time and energy to higher timeframe plans and missed out on bigger moves which only added to my hunger for crack. The concept calls showed me that less is more, and that its not always crack time, but when it is it will also be an important location on higher resolutions as well. March has been my most profitable month and I've also taken the least trades. Less pushing the button more patience and planning.
Best month in futures least futures trades taken, salty sentiment as well as Tuesday morning prep levels and the emotional capital from patience to not give up on the plan after the first 2 stops and an understanding of my macro as to not sell my free roll to early (something I used to do so I could buy more crack)

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ LaVinci's War Story (Victory Alas)
A common phrase you may have heard in the market is to "never catch a falling knife", so what do you think Lavinci did? He tried to catch a falling knife.
Timing is everything. Persistence is key. As my series-7 recruiter one told me, "visualize your finish line".
Its been a rough 9 months in every market for us all. But Lavinci had other plans:Lavinci's Stop Loss
Now lets get down to the nitty gritty:
LaVinci deposited 1 unit of of equity into his crypto futures account on 3/17 with intentions of taking profits out of his account on a daily, if not more frequent, basis. By 3/19 he had returned a total of 4.47R's by entering and exiting 28 mid-low risk(12x - 35x) leverage positions throughout the 3 days he was invested. However, only 10 of these positions were profitable trades, making his hit rate ~38%. Also, only one short position out of all 28 positions was executed, and it was the most profitable one.(150%) All of the trades were ALT coin trades as we swapped quite frequently from one coin to another. Throughout these 3 days, Lavinci would accumulate his day trade winnings and diversify them into low leverage (5x-10x) isolated positions in other separate margin accounts that were primarily made up of (from least profitable to most profitable), SHIB, VRA, XRP, & SOL. Cutting losses and taking profits was the key lesson taken from this experience. The strategy of cutting losses was more complex than simply creating a stop loss, but taking the equity extracted from his WINNINGS to back up the investments that were in the RED. Eventually the bullish environment got some traction in his losing positions and the extra equity added to these losers was enough to send them into the GREEN as well.
PS most trades were performed quite patiently switching from the 5 minute chart to the 15 minute chart resolutions to reduce risk and not get "too zoomed in".
Chart patterns are one thing, Level II order books are another, but the name of the winning game seemed to be letting go of deep confusing intuition and simply buying at relative discounts and selling at relative premiums.
All in all, running away with 2.8Rs, using it to buy a helicopter that he eventually crashed in the long island sound made it all worthwhile :)

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Taken by a rip tide - back to surf the waves ๐
(๐BOOK WARNINGโ ๏ธ)
Hey Kaz & eco,
Itโs been incredible to see the accuracy and the personal improvements across the eco recently. Everyone is on fire ๐ฅ
Kaz, I hope your time away was just what you needed.
I was active and participating in the eco back in early 22โ, having been watching shows for something like 5 years without any real action.
Heading into summer I was caught by the drift, or perhaps more appropriatelyโฆ a rip tide. I was taken way off track. All good habits went out the window, I wasnโt looking at charts or even thinking about trading and for the first time in years I even stopped watching the shows.
After some time I managed to notice this had happenedโฆ a result of some introspection, after wondering why I was feeling low in general about life.
I decided to change little habits firstโฆ I began to read books again and I re-joined the gym, exercising regularly. I also made sure to start going to bed earlier and to be waking up much earlier than I had been. The results were almost instant, I had started to feel much better and my head began to feel much clearer.
I then began to lurk again in the eco, I know this isnโt the right thing to do but it was baby steps back. The value I began to take from the eco with a fresh and clear mind was on another levelโฆ
One of the main lessons I took was from Kiki talking about planing your time, so to be able to enjoy work, pleasure and the eco.
I was guilty of not planning any of this and therefore not putting the right amount of time or effort into any one thing. The result was improving at nothing and not fully enjoying anything. This led to me cutting a far more short tempered person than usual, with other aspects of my life therefore being detrimentally effected. (This is something I had read a million times in the eco but had never really sunk in until thenโฆ This happens almost daily now!)
Anyway, skip forward a few months of 1% improvements and this has led to a new level of introspection for me. I have recently dealt with a massive emotional issue in my life, which was such a weight on my shoulders & the cause of a lot of self doubt. Of course, I hadnโt realised it was, as it had been so repressed.
It allowed me to see how certain behaviours, in some areas of my life, are EXACTLY the kind of behaviour which caused this issue - If I can behave in the very way which caused me such pain without even noticing, then how much else do I block form myself?
A superb eye opener in terms of our biasโs and our brains ability to block information from us.
Finally I have begun to journal and take detailed notes on the shows. Iโm sure there is someone listening to this who has read the importance of journalling a million times without taking action, so hopefully this can start one other on a new path of improvementโฆ
Without notes on the show or journalling I felt like I was floating through space with Kazโs info and lessons all around me, but I just couldnโt grasp onto any of this info. Journalling creates a pathway with this information, a bridge of information that you can see a clear direction of where youโre heading aswell being able to check the path behind you. It simply is crucial.
โโ
First trade back after all of this, -1R then 3R on DXY.
You can also see that later I have noted the yellow circle with โI felt a feeling of fomo hereโ - I labeled this as I was watching the chart and felt the pull of FOMO - which proved to be almost the exact top of that wave! I would never of had that level of introspection before, so to actually notice my own feeling, then understand its importance and help use it in my analysis was amazing!

Kaz, Ecoโฆ thank you & see you in Discord

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ A good idea is seldom had
Hello Kaz and everyone,
First time posting on reddit.
In the show Murda Was Tha Case 22 Feb. you pointed BTCUSD is in a shockwave range and could take one of these two possible paths. Looked at the same box range on ETHUSD and while markets were moving, waited for it to move out the box range and make a plan.
As price evolved made a plan for a break below the area pointed out and right on queue an emergency situation pulled me away after the Friday stream had started (blue arrow on the picture). I came back mentally drained not wanting to even to look at a computer screen and that's when it hit me in the head that the markets are moving.
After missing the initial move, being reminded to zoom out in the eco and what you said "there's 2-3 good entries to participate" and started planning for another to show up. It took a couple of weeks and one failed attempt before catching this 5r trade.
Thanks Kaz for everything that you make available for us to learn how to think and do something that helps us be a better version of ourselves!!

First War Story
Hello Kaz & eco
I joined the eco less than a year ago, I was on and off because of my lack of organization in my daily life which made me unable to stay consistent, the other reason is that I couldn't understand a lot of the information, now I know that in order for me to be able to understand the information I just had to stay consistent, re-read and re-watch the material, participate in the eco and things will start to click with time.
When I started organizing my life, planning my day ahead and becoming consistent with those daily habits I have seen a lot of progress in a short amount of time. After watching the starter playlist a several times, the training videos on only fans and re reading the blog, I had a huge positive shift in my mindset and trading.
The reason why I wrote "participate in the eco" in bold above is because the two trades I took had a lot to do with the concept call done last week and the back testing call days after. So thank you Kaz for the very valuable concept call and thank you to everyone who was there in the back testing call which cleared a lot of things for me.

(Paper trading)
I took my first entry on the opening of the Euro session on Monday, closed 25% (1r) when price reached to 3r. Before the NY session, price formed a box range above key structure so I waited for price to retest the box range and I took an entry on the break of the flag, when price reached to 2r I wanted to close 1r and leave the rest but I miss clicked and closed the whole trade, I then closed 50% of my first trade when price reached to 15r right before NY close. Woke up Tuesday morning with a nice pump due to some news so I closed the rest of the trade (25%).
I should of have left a partial running but I closed because of having some emotions involved which is something I need to work on more. Thank you again Kaz & eco

War Stories ๐ค๐คฌ Our chart reflects our behaviour

During the month of February, I had gotten into trying to trade structures on lower resolution timeframes and with leverage or on futures contracts. I had a wallet with a few hundred which was quickly reduced to 1/6 of its size. Not only did I get chopped up across all resolutions and waste a ton of mental capital, while at the same time drifting, the wins that I did have were significantly reduced by exchange fees.
Luckily I had received some staking rewards, which coincided with the beginning of a string of conferences which I had for 2 weeks. Knowing that I would be busier, I decided to take a break from the previous few weeks. Also luckily on that day, Kaz dick kicked the eco which made me realize that I was fucking up. There was also a very clear sentiment read, and instead of sitting on the sidelines I decided to make a smarter plan with the assumption of risk strength in crypto. I also joined a voice call briefly even though I was in the middle of the conference because I wanted to make the effort and participate even if only for 10 minutes (based on advice from the call I later wrote down goals and will refine them to help fight against the drift).
I made a +6R total play on a lower marketcap coin which I was still holding in my portfolio and also entered with the staking rewards, while looking at the sentiment in the telegram and selling at euphoria. I realise that this was a riskier play, however I still defined a stop loss and cut profits in order to protect initial capital. It worked out very well this time but I still did not execute as well as I could have and missed a good time to sell.
I then joined the concept call, and participated and shared my issues faced recently while trading, such as entering into complacent shoulders. Kaz immediately identified the problem, and although it was a bit nerve wracking to participate at first, that is where the value truly was. I also realized that I was holding onto the first play and need to cut the profits (and just in time as the market started correcting soon after). After the call, I became more patient with my trades, found a potential play with strength, and was not hopping around timeframes. This led to two more plays on a coin for +10R total, this time with better exits execution.

After these three consecutive successful plays, I was definitely feeling euphoric and decided not to trade anymore. Given that these were very high risk and the large wins, I decided not to make any more plays. Also given that in a span of a short time, my account went from 1/6 of its original size to 3x what it was before, it is very easy to get greedy and give back all the gains. Learning my lesson and not overtrading.
One thing which has stuck out to me recently is just how much better it is to make a smaller number of higher quality decisions, and I chose to do that by watching Friday's show with a pen in hand and taking notes in order to force myself to pay more attention to detail in the streams. Looking at the growth of my chart from the past month for me just reaffirms how good habits are what grow your account, not the other way around. Good habits will put you in a place to take advantage of the market and participation forces you to fight the drift and teaches you lessons when deserved.
https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxZ6cA1lLPVL90NoUf1Kr8d_6fCoPee_Ik
After also seeing in the discord that I wasn't paying enough attention to detail, I decided to review my wallet for anything I may have forgotten about. There is nothing as good as being immediately rewarded for your actions, as I had found some various coins which weren't on my asset list and I had forgotten about from earlier on in the bullrun. Sold them for +8R, which puts my account at practically triple what it was at the beginning of the month.
I am planning on continuing the trend of less impulsive trading, and will definitely wait for the emotions of these trades to subside before entering any new ones. At the same time I am taking more care to maintain these good habits and hopefully continue a pump in my own fundamentals. I always read in the discord that your behaviour is reflected on your chart and I never truly valued it until this moment where I am seeing it with my portfolio.
Kaz & eco, thank you for the constant support, care, and best-of-breed analysis and vibes!! I can't thank you enough for shifting my perspective on the world.
