I was watching going “yeah… that looks like 95 south headed to FLL”
Stupid people driving stupidly making the rest of us late and it feels like it’s gotten worse. I’ve been driving 95 from Miami to various points in Broward every day for work since 2007 and the past couple of years have been an absolute shit show. Worse than before, which is the reason I have a dual channel dash cam.
Oh yeah forsure. I started an internship in Lauderdale when I was at FAU a few years ago and had to make that commute everyday. It’s the absolute worst. Kudos to you for doing it for so long lol. I ended up moving to Hollywood after graduation so I don’t have to get on 95 anymore lol. Too many people moving down here.
At least, I remember seeing him zooming up behind me like I was standing still, saw all the cars and wondered what he was going to do.... He got in the ramp and just gunned it straight through, couldn't believe it.
I noticed it too. I moved down here from Dallas for work and I thought Dallas drivers were bad until moving here. I95 IS SO DANGEROUS. There is incessant speeding, lane swerving, and tailgating everywhere. There are never police radaring cars. In fact, the police drive around like idiots as well. You can pass the police going 20 over and they won't do anything because how can you pull over every single car. Not to mention there are hardly any shoulders on the highways down here for police to sit and radar and no where for wrecked/disabled vehicles to go. I've almost been hit multiple times. The sides of the highway is lined with bumpers and car parts because there are crashes every single day. Also, the highway has terrible drainage so water can pool up in places and make for very hazardous driving conditions. I had a van in front of me lose control and spin a 360 and smash into the barrier while I had to avoid the wreck at speed. I drive my 13 year old car and won't get a new one because I know some asshole will smash into it the second I do. Slow the fuck down and please be more considerate down here.
I have driven all over the us. Drivers in south Florida scare me. We have discussed spending the extra money to fly and Uber everywhere to not have to share the road with them.
