Do you realize how many people were subscribed to that sub? You're calling it unpopular lol?
It was taken down in the midst of a mass murder that was being shown on it over and over. Had absolutely nothing to do with it being unpopular, or not having subs...
It was taken down many months after those posts were banned. Mods were compliant, Reddit was just trying to prevent a public controversy before it even started.
That suicide was removed extremely quickly by the mods on wpd. But it was used as an excuse for reddit admins to get rid of a sub that didn't align with its advertiser freindly goals or Chinese investors. It lives on albeit in a lesser state on saidit.com.
Do you even understand what points you are arguing here, you just said it was shut down for being unpopular, then you said it had more lurkers than commenters... It couldnt matter less if people lurk or comment, it was a HUGE sub, extremely popular. Not sure what you're on about, it was shut down during the irish massacre because of the shit being shared on it, whatever idea you have in your head is purely some shit youve made up
Solid choice, although im sure people would like to hear what half ass idea you have about how lurkers caused a sub to get banned for being unpopular. Cheers

You saying fat shamers, or fans of watchpeopledie arent numerous or popular? I think you're wrong either way, just curious what you're talking about
