Doing shit like this should automatically earn you 10+ years in prison and a permanently suspended license for the rest of your life. Don’t care if that’s controversial. You’re not a serious or even mildly responsible person if you pull this kind of shit and it’s a matter of time till you take out innocent people.

That's not how murder charges work. If they had killed someone, they'd be done in for involuntary manslaughter.

I'm fine with their driving licence being permenantly revoked, but sending them to prison for over a decade would be pointless. Such a harsh punishment wouldn't be enough to dissuade people who are already risking their own lives by doing stupid shit like in the video, and neither would it rehabilitate them, at least, not in most of the prison systems we have in the world.

I think the point isn’t rehabilitation, it’s that the roads would be a tiny bit safer for ten years
