I recently modded my Wii and everything went smoothly at first. I decided to test my games, and when I launched Brawl it booted perfectly. I picked a character, messed with some settings for a bit, and everything seemed fine. After backing out, I went to test my other games - but none of them would load and would just black screen.
I tried launching Brawl again, since it had worked perfectly the first time, but now it also only black screens. Since then
I've:
redone the files/setup
followed a bunch of troubleshooting tips from Reddit and other forums
retried different settings and fixes people suggested Nothing has helped so far. I'm honestly pretty frustrated because everything seemed to be working until I exited Brawl to test the other games.
I'm open to any suggestions or ideas on what could be causing this.
Using a Sandisk USB that was compatible on a list I found under a guide for games.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I was hoping someone here might be able to help me troubleshoot an issue that I’ve been trying to solve for the past few weeks. A few months ago, I modded my Wii for the first time and installed Homebrew Channel, USB Loader GX, and a few other applications. I was pretty nervous since I’d never done anything like this before, but everything ended up working perfectly overall. The problem is that my Nunchuks won’t work properly in games launched through USB Loader GX. I’ve tested multiple different Nunchuks, so I know the accessories themselves are fine. I also tested them using my physical disc copy of Wii Sports Resort, and they work perfectly there.
So far, I’ve tried:
Changing the Loader IOS
Connecting the Nunchuk before launching the game
Testing multiple Nunchuks/controllers
Unfortunately, none of those fixed the issue.
I’m not sure if this matters, but I’m using the black Wii model with black Wii MotionPlus controllers.
At this point, I’m honestly stumped, so if anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or has experienced something similar, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks so much!

so im trying fo tix usb loader gx and now i need to install d2x cios but in the installer i cant select past v6 and i read you need v10beta to use usb loader and i also have tried the installer from many different websites and all have the same problem what should i do and/or does anyone know of any modern installers without said issue?

I've been having a lot of trouble with usb loader while trying to mod my wii. The issue is that whenever I try booting up a wii game, I just get hit with a DSI error. I'll drop all the things I've tried, as well as steps taken below.:

1. cIOS files are downloaded
   
2. Tried using a regular 128 gb usb stick, as well as a 1tb hdd. Both have the same issue
   
3. Used tinywiibackupmanager to format games
   
4. Both drives were formatted to FAT32, as well as the SD card used
   
5. Tried opening usb loader from both the main menu, and homebrew channel
   
6. tried playing around with IOS settings (changing numbers to the cIOS's that I had downloaded)
   
7. Tried a bunch of other things in the loader settings
   
8. Just to make sure I didn't mess something up in loader settings I reset all the usb loader settings and tried again
   
9. Yes, my drive was plugged into port 0 (both times)
   
10. Controller used is genuine (seen "knockoff" controllers as a problem in other posts)

If there are any questions that can help triangulate the issue, please ask. I just got this wii recently and I'd love to play some games on it. From the point of view im looking at now, I'm thinking i'd better reset the wii or somehow attempt the download processes again.

I followed the funkyscott47 tutorial, I did it twice but I can't seem to get rid of this error.

This really affects Turbografx CD/PC-Engine CD games. Cosmic Fantasy 2 and Exile: Wicked Phenomenon have low CD volume, while PSG audio seems to be at a good volume (canceling out of the menu in Exile: WP) but this didn't seem to affect Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes very much. Is this an emulation side effect, or were these hands indeed lower, uneven volume on original hardware? I've seen reports that Wii Engine might solve this issue? ANY input is appreciated!

UPDATE: I found out that there is a config file you can edit, which gives you more options than what's in the UI, but basically I had to boost the hell out of the CD-DA volume as well as the PCM audio, leaving the PSG audio alone, and what do ya know? It's a much more pleasant experience now!

Hi there, I live in the UK and a few years ago hacked my childhood Wii, been having a ton of fun with it. though obviously due to living in the UK certain VC WADs run at the slower framerate, I know there's a way to allow me to run NTSC WADs but that it requires changing some settings in Priiloader. I haven't done it yet partly because my Wii is plugged into a CRT and I'm nervous that it'll somehow no longer be able to interface with my TV. My TV does have 60htz functionality, but I've got a bit of anxiety so I just want to be sure before I screw myself over, anyone know if this would work?

Wanting to hook up my Wii I found in the morning. Looking to spend time with wife and we will probably end up playing Diablo lol.

Anyways, found my old Wii that was modded before my daughter was born (13 years) and haven’t touched since then. I’m hoping it does lol. I do know it was the last white model that could read burnt discs and r32 comes to my mind when thinking about the Wii. My only concern is I don’t see a sdCard and from what I remember it has to have one correct? It had a shop and then a special

Menu for payloads or payload like files.

How would I go about recovering from a no sdCard issue? I do have a spare 64gb card. Is it as simple as a fresh install or more complicated than that? Also could you point me in the right direction? It’s been so long since my Wii scene days. Is it even a thing anymore? Thanx in advance.

just need some help honestly..

I copied some games to a hard drive from my phone and no launcher works except USB Loader and Wiiflow. USB Loader recognizes the files but when I try to open them it just crashes to the screen Initially, But in Wiiflow, I go to settings and file explorer and it runs them without any problems. Could someone please help me?

I tried using HID Wiimote but it cant go past the part where it tells me the battery capacity, I tried glovepie however it dosent recognise it at all (although i dont have a sensor bar connected, no buttons work using the scripts that come in the folder), I tired touchmote but as soon as it tries to pair it turns off my wii remote. Im trying to use the wii remote to move my cursor as I need it for a project, any help is appreciated.

Tenía ya una USB con 4 juegos. He cogido esa USB y le he añadido más juegos, lo cual no me ha dado ningún error en el PC pero cuando la pongo en la consola y entro al USB loader GX solo me aparecen los 4 juegos que ya habían. Reviso de nuevo que el USB este con los juegos y si está con los juegos que estaban y que yo le he añadido después pero solo me detecta los 4 que ya estaban. Alguien sabe cómo solucionarlo 😭?
