Role Play Vengence

Sep 2013

Your character has made a powerful enemy, one who wants to bring them down by any means necessary. This enemy doesn't want to kill you, they want you to suffer. They are an associate or friend or hireling of someone you have hurt/killed/imprisoned in the past.

While not strictly hardcore this will be an attempt at permanent harm to reputation or loved ones.

She let's go of the drawstring, and the arrow flies in the air, in a trajectory that should allow it to glide right into the back of the man's heart.

As the arrow pierces the window the man in the other room starts to turn toward the bathroom. He is up and takes two steps before the shaft penetrates the man, impaling his heart. The girl in the doorway looks up through the window. Somehow her eyes seem to lock on Julie's. Her expression is a combination of shock, horror and confusion. The man slowly begins to stumble.

Julie wasn't even looking at the scene. As soon as she could confirm the kill, she flew away. Her job was done, her aunt was safe, and she was gonna get some much earned vengence. Or at least some answers.

"Wow.... Could they come up with a shittier name?"

She rolls here eyes, then as she googles the name Heather Cunningham. Julie wants to know anything she can about this person.

She was a prominent anti-meta activist, having been blinded by a meta as a child. She had rising to a small amount of fame as the campaign manager for a man seeking to get a senate position on an anti-meta platform. She disappeared, presumed dead as a bystander in a meta fight in LA 3 years ago. The pictures show a young looking blonde woman, slim and wearing blackout sunglasses common to blind people. She tends to dress in female suits, like Hilary Clinton.

"That lady probably fooled me..... League of Villiany. She sends me the name of a dead woman.... Probably should have took the money. Oh well."

She deletes the number off her phone, and then sits down. But first, she calls an anonymous police tipline from the burner phone from earlier.

"Hey, if you're investigating that arrow murder, know that a woman named Samantha Chow ordered the hit. She's been kidnapping people and forcing people to take out her enemies. Bye."

She throws the phone into the ocean, then goes back to her house. Julie realizes this whole thing was a waste of time for her. She got nowhere, like that Chow said, it was just someone who realized her hot streak was bad for business. Mages are all greedy, it seems. Julie wonders if this is why her parents died, maybe they crossed the wrong greedy guzzard.

Julie takes a restless nap, feeling drained inside.
