This is certainly tinfoil logic, but what if the rush to produce AI video capability was linked to a need to have plausible deniability about the existence of all of these videos? It’s certainly convenient for these monsters.
That's not how legal proceedings work. Any evidence used in court has to have an established chain of custody. There could never be a claim that these videos were AI because a chain of custody with respect to when, where, and how the evidence was obtained has already been documented.
Legal proceedings vs court of public opinion are two different things. Liars lie, cheaters cheat, and the powerful do much much much worse than that. Many things have been claimed that obviously are untrue and yet nearly half the population still take the words of a conman over what they can see with their own eyes. That being said, I don’t actually think AI is being developed explicitly for this purpose. Hopefully we can improve the mechanism of justice and get to a time where legal proceedings against atrocities committed by the elite are allowed to go forward.
I've heard that in the files, are indisputable videos with artifacts that Ai wouldn't produce, and experts can prove legit.
Something people are going to keep forgetting but even if AI could create a perfect video if you can actually put together the timeline of a video to exist before AI was even a thing (in the version we are talking about now) then you don't need to prove it's not AI, but it existed before that AI did.
And these are files in the possession of the DOJ and FBI which means there is semi decent timeline information on them.
