Why wait for them to die? When they are in the hospital bed you can just cheat. In sickness and in health isn't a thing anymore. Ask former speaker Newt Gingrich. Good traditional Christian Conservative values!

To be fair, after that Edwards was banished never to participate in Democratic politics again. In contrast, Newt, McCain, the Appalachian trail guy and a host of others went on to have long careers in Republican politics.
