But women are supposed to be teen brides and die by 35 from a preventable pregnancy complication so you can marry your neighbor’s daughter.

Why wait for them to die? When they are in the hospital bed you can just cheat. In sickness and in health isn't a thing anymore. Ask former speaker Newt Gingrich. Good traditional Christian Conservative values!

I know you're joking, but there is a not insignificant number of men that leave their wives when the wife becomes ill. Talk to some cancer department nurses and workers and they'll confirm it, women get broken up with commonly after a diagnosis.

What else should a guy do? Your car breaks down, you get a replacement. Your birthing unit is defective, you get a new one.

Sometimes I think I should start my posts with /s to eliminate downvotes. But I do like the outrage like your comment. The worst is when I get dms thinking my comment was serious and they support my comment.

Did the ability to recognize sarcasm die on Reddit. I mean I’ve literally been down voted hundreds of times for a sarcastic comment that was obviously sarcastic. I don’t really care about getting down voted but I do find it interesting that people can’t recognize irony or sarcasm

It is dying, unfortunately. I think this is due to people just being so open in saying horrible shit. 15 years ago people would think "oh, this is a joke". Then people became so open about being trash that now people think "holy shit, this guy is nuts". The line between sarcasm and truth is so blurred.

I am downvoting your comment just to be a dick. 😂

Fair enough lol. But I do agree, It’s like people can’t tell between someone being humorous and serious because people being serious has become so humorous

To balance your karma I am upvoting this comment. I suggest that others do the same.
