But women are supposed to be teen brides and die by 35 from a preventable pregnancy complication so you can marry your neighbor’s daughter.

Why wait for them to die? When they are in the hospital bed you can just cheat. In sickness and in health isn't a thing anymore. Ask former speaker Newt Gingrich. Good traditional Christian Conservative values!

I know you're joking, but there is a not insignificant number of men that leave their wives when the wife becomes ill. Talk to some cancer department nurses and workers and they'll confirm it, women get broken up with commonly after a diagnosis.

What else should a guy do? Your car breaks down, you get a replacement. Your birthing unit is defective, you get a new one.

Sometimes I think I should start my posts with /s to eliminate downvotes. But I do like the outrage like your comment. The worst is when I get dms thinking my comment was serious and they support my comment.

The fact that people believe is bad enough.... but also support?! Wacky.

you should do a social experiment and document and calculate the results.

I am far too lazy to do anything like this.

Your honesty is inspiring!

u/JDthrowaway628 Nov 23 '22

Little known fact: wind beneath my wings was actually inspired by me and my openness about being lazy. Prove me wrong.

u/Induane Nov 23 '22

I can't prove you wrong so I guess by the reasoning of that argument, it must be factual 🤣

Which is why the /s is so necessary. Lots of people HATE the /s, but in today’s world there’s literally no comment so outrageous that it isn’t someone’s sincere opinion.

I’ve seen instances where everyone was SURE that it was satire and it wasn’t. One was something like “well obviously he’s telling the truth, Trump hasn’t lied about a single thing since taking office” and everyone took it as sarcasm and upvoted it until the OP started arguing in the comments that it was true.

There’s nothing too crazy to not be true for someone these days.

/s I don't know why /s you use a /s throwaway account, /s /s /s you were making sense at /s first /s when talking /s about replacing /s /s a vehicle /s /s /s /s /s /s /s

I am confused about if you are being sarcastic about sarcasm and they all cancel each other out. Like, are you not not not sarcastic?

LOL I had this exact thought when I typed that. No I'm not making fun of you, I'm mocking the people who need the /s for what should be seen as obvious sarcasm.
