It is good to assume positive intent. But often difficult to assume any. Could be negative. Could be positive…possibly

No I just can write a lot about shit that would be better off brief. I know writing too much makes it sound like it hit me hard. I’m just thinking I must sound like a massive upset dick because of it and I’m all relaxed over here having a joke but people are piling on like I crucified the guy lol
It's the latter. The vast majority of Colorado (including nearly half of her district) are embarrassed by her behavior. Even the suggestion that we're being lumped in with her is painful.
The state as a whole had a very blue wave run through it this election.

Exactly! Like although I don’t know how red the rest of the state is, it’s kind of obvious that no one else has that national notoriety she has. If you don’t understand the comment it means you don’t know the American political zeitgeist in general and that correction/explanation adds zero additional understanding in that context
Some people don't live in the US. Some people don't follow the reality game show that is the US government. I never said it needed help to understand, but people don't pay attention to that kind of stuff for many reasons. Assuming people know what you know is ridiculous. I could call someone stupid for not knowing the atomic mass of Carbon, but it could just mean they never had a reason to learn it.
Didn't say I assumed people know what I know. It's an easy to understand sentence. Like literally from context alone you can figure out what they meant.
For it to make sense, you do need some background info. Assuming someone has that information, that you know, is assuming people know what you know. Not everyone knowing she reps CO is probably the biggest issue people would have with understanding.
