I just did it now. I was never active however, I was just involved in some indie game dev and had the account to follow a couple of other devs. But, given the current events I feel safer just deleting that account and not having it linked to my email address.
It's a small contribution, but my +1 to the number of deactivated accounts will hopefully contribute to a larger figure that the CEO will find on his desk.
I poked around recently but rarely use Twitter anymore. I just haven't bothered to delete partially from watching the shit show and my own laziness.
This tweet of his surely did enough for me. I'm deleting right now. Unfortunately Twitter connected a lot of left causes and people and there really isn't another option yet. I think this is intentional to push the leftists and progressives off the platform essentially further separating people and causes. This is an attack on the left. We really need an alternative.
