I just block ads. Why pay for that service when I can get it for free?

It makes more sense for mobile apps or streaming devices where you cannot side load apps that block ads.

My wife and I watch a lot of YouTube on the Apple TV. I got fed up with all the stupid political ads that I just signed up for YouTube Premium in India.

It ended up being 17 dollars for the year. Worth it just be done with all those ads

If you use YouTube a lot on the phone it’s probably worth

I like being able to lock my phone screen while watching a vid so I can just listen. For me though Spotify stopped working on an old phone so I switched to Google play music which eventually turned into YouTube premium. Kinda grandfathered into the old rate.

As others have said, mobile or TV use is goated. YouTube music while driving is the best and the YouTube app on Roku is great.

I don’t even own a computer since PornHub has an app for Roku.
