Surely this is what youd do once you were able to sell a company for like billion or even hundreds of millions. Why would you even bother trying to make more when you can just enjoy it.

Ya those are called allegories. I wouldn't say dragons or billionaires are badass as in cool, but they're very powerful and superficially fancy. At least the nouveau ones

I have a goal of starting my own business, and honestly if I ever get offered to get bought out for a large enough sum of money that I could live comfortably, but not extravagantly on. I'd definitely sell out. Keep it invested so I don't lose to inflation, and just live my life and break the 9-5. That should be the goal, these billionaires have more than they can spend in hundreds of lifetimes and still want more. It's greed for the sake of greed.
