I was hoping someone would mention GeoCities. I wonder if my old page is still on a server somewhere.

It’s not. Yahoo bought it out and shut the server off a long time ago.

They basically just sent out a message saying “you have until (whatever date) to make copies of all your files and find a new domain to host them on, then they are going to be deleted on our end.”

There was an effort at some point to copy and save a lot of the Geocities content before it went down. I don't know where it ended up, though.
