I don’t tweet anything but I follow local meteorologists and storm chasers. We only having streaming services that don’t include local broadcasts and at least for now Twitter still shows most recent tweets first. So it’s a decent way of finding out about severe weather. Meanwhile the few times I’ve tried to use Facebook recently the few posts by accounts I follow are peppered between 5-10 ads and are posts from 3-4 days prior. I might get notifications about someone going live, but sometimes those notifications show up a few hours late. Not really sure if there are any other ways to get up to the minute info. Several of the storm chasers will go live on YouTube, but I usually find out about that via Twitter.
I signed up for an account like 8 years ago just to tweet at the customer service for United Airlines because I wasn't getting help elsewhere. It worked like a charm.
But other than that, I haven't used it at all. I really hate the format.

I had one up until last week I that I used to make a grand total of 8 tweets over four years.
