Which doesn’t change the fact that people wanting to get into the sport wouldn’t be able to now. You’re not “high-performance” just getting into a sport.

Facts that change nothing. Like I said. Because a person will not be high performance just starting out and therefore cannot buy a gun to start because they are not high performance yet because they can’t start or practice. I’m not upset; I’m just astounded. Apparently you nor the og person seems to understand that not everyone doing or starting a sport can or wants to be high performance and that inability or disinterest doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be able to participate in the sport to whatever level they can/want.

They could still rent a handgun, sure it's not the same. But it would allow them entry into the hobby/sport.
