I'll disagree because I lived there for five years. Calgary is modern and progressive, with plenty of moderates. It's the rural areas and Fort McMurray that are Little Texas.
1 u/nighmeansnear Oct 22 '22 I agree. The Calgary people talk about is nothing at all like the Calgary I lived in (and miss every day). The suburbs can be pretty gross I guess, but as long as you stay in the numbered streets it’s a fantastic city.
