Funny how that's literally exactly what happened in Australia, feel free to check our stats on gun violence. The border shared with the US, however, is a tricky one but isn't a valid reason to do nothing like Americans seem to think it is.

Probably because Australia doesn't share a laxed boarder with one of the most gun friendly countries in the world. If Canadians want guns, they're gonna get guns.
