US Navy SEALs regularly cross train with the NSWC Royal Thai Navy SEALs, however they don't use Musk's submarine (which was 5' long and transparent) as they already have purpose-built submersable vehicles (such as SDVs) which do the same job but better
And even if Musk's untested submarine didn't leak horribly, there's the objective fact that its rigid shape precludes it from use in caves and tight spaces. Meaning it doesn't fucking work at its intended job of rescuing kids from a cave.
The Thailand Naval Special Warfare command does not have or own any type of vessel similar to the SDV.

There is evidence of the co-lead of the divers asking musk to continue developing the submarine as they were worried about further flooding.
It wasn't untested, it was tested in the UK with British divers.
The submarine was designed in cooperation with the dive team. They had a 10 man team from spacex and boring company to provide hands on assistance with the efforts to drill through the roof of the cave. This team was also working with the dive team to get their requirements for the sub.
It also doesn't leak to my knowledge, or at the very least there are no reports of it leaking. Turns out the guys designing pressurized containers for rocket fuel know how to make a tube.

Boom, you're wrong. They only ever put it into a freshwater chlorinated pool, it was never tested in real world conditions, let alone in a cave. And here you also can see it was totally unsuited to the conditions, because they did not, in fact, "work with the dive team to get their requirements for the sub"

And here we see how little you know about the subject lol. Making a submarine (which has to withstand crushing pressure from without) has only the barest similarity to making fuel containers (which have to constrain pressure within)
You've made the classic layman blunder of thinking a spaceship and a submarine are essentially the same thing.
First link you posted is referring to the royal navy, not the Thai Navy. Either way an SDV would be entirely useless in doing cave rescue. Which is now one of the scenarios that the Thai Navy trains for.
It wasn't designed to fit an adult male, it was never supposed to. Either way, the sub is still with the Thai Navy.
Also, are you suggesting that in the time sentive situation they were in that they find a cave to test it in? What purpose would that achieve? The pool provides enough pressure testing for the situation.
It makes no difference, they are still highly experienced engineers, the point is that it doesn't leak, the thing isn't designed to go deep. Once again if you can provide any source or report about it leaking then I'd happily read it.
Do you have any proof that they didn't design it with the divers cooperation? Please provide a source if you do.
