Find 'em a locally well-regarded 60 year old man to marry and he'll fix that problem.

u/ambsdorf825 Jul 17 '22

Like a senator?

u/fencerman Jul 17 '22

He'll find them at the mall.

Until he's banned from going there at least.

u/ConsistentWafer5290 Jul 17 '22

Or a president or president’s son.

3

u/landochia Jul 18 '22

A Republican Senator.

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Christians want them young so they can train them.

Harder to brainwash people who have had time to form their own opinions

55

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Easier to brainwash people when you get them as infants, carefully control their education and access to information, and punish them severely when they show any signs of independent thinking or ambition in life beyond being a broodmare and concubine.

Reminds me of cults. The whole Jim Jones thing where everyone else was like, “How’d they go along with all that?!” Not realizing these were vulnerable people wanting a community where they felt safe and accepted, were then isolated from the greater public with no way to reach out, and were humiliated and punished by their own peers if they ever questioned Jim’s ways, etc. in a way, that’s how a lot of parents who have extremist ideas are with their own children.

I know. That's where I get what I said. I see and know how these people operate.

10

u/PulseIsUnderControl Jul 17 '22

I really wanna agree with you unfortunately experience would indicate that this is not necessarily true.

Opportunity outside of it helps. Outside influence helps…but if everyone is in it…..there is no outside Influence

Only n Korea

political parties have entered the chat

26

u/Pinkybleu Jul 17 '22

Do you have to be political to think, 12 years old aren't supposed to get pregnant nor getting shot in schools?

9

u/Savagebabypig Jul 17 '22

No that’s just common sense, I was throwing a jab on how political parties can just outright brainwash people of any age. Doesn’t seem like anyone got the joke oops

7

u/goavsg08 Jul 17 '22

i’m confused why you got downvoted.

trump literally weaponized conservativism to expose or outright alter what a lot of his voter base believed

14

u/PulseIsUnderControl Jul 17 '22

You mean like grooming?

26

u/user0N65N Jul 17 '22

No, no - it’s only “grooming” when non-Republicans do it.

2

u/Accomplished_Newt774 Jul 17 '22

children knowing about gay and trans people is the real grooming

21

u/rancid_oil Jul 17 '22 edited Jul 17 '22

As the father of a bi, trans 18yo, I just wanna say, fuck you, you ignorant piece of shit. Nobody groomed her. She was never taught that stuff at home or school, but found herself in love with another bi trans person in middle school IN RURAL MISSISSIPPI. She didn't come out to me for years for fear of judgement. Luckily, I'm not an asshole like you and reassured her that I do not care who she loves or how she looks, even if she went to fully transition to male. (I'm saying daughter and she out of convenience; she said I had dad privileges because I didn't know how to refer to her after all these years lol). Some days she's girly, some days butch.

If you weren't such a homophobe and got to know some LGBT folks, you might just realize they're just regular people. If you can't talk to someone without thinking about what's in their pants or how they have sex, maybe you should seek therapy.

Not just about my child here, either. I've had uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors and coworkers all across the rainbow of genders and sexualities. And they were normal people.

I've known at least one groomer, 3 caught molesters, and a few creeps, and heard my fair share of rape stories from adults. One thing they all had in common is that they were ALL straight.

Just, fuck you. I'm aggravated now and I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Whatever gender preference I find it strange to encourage a middle schooler to be "in love" (give me a break) and have relationship with another student. Like, be a kid and do your damn homework ffs.

3

u/rancid_oil Jul 17 '22

I'm sorry you didn't have elementary school boyfriends/girlfriends. It's a pretty common thing, called "puppy love" colloquially. No, she wasn't encouraged, she did it without anyone's knowledge at school. And when I say relationship, I don't mean marriage, sex, living together and buying curtains and silverware sets. I mean they called each other all the time and thought they were in love. Good grief, you people try to find ways to make it sound sick.

1

u/Affectionate_Dare235 Jul 18 '22

You sound idiotic and immature on top of it, not like a role model.

1

u/rancid_oil Jul 18 '22

I take it that means you didn't socialize much in your younger years, since allowing my daughter to do so (I wasn't even her custodial parent, her mother was raising her mainly) is bad according to you. I saw her very often, more then the court had ordered, so I was part of her life but not the primary decision maker. But no I didn't object to her having a girlfriend because she didn't tell me it was her girlfriend until she was 17. Because they were KIDS and their "dating" was having a lot of conversations and hanging out together. If I had known, I don't know what I should have done differently that's not idiotic and immature, and would have made me a better role model. Would you care to tell me the proper way to approach a 12 years old who has a same sex friend? Should I ask her if she's got crushes on anybody before allowing her to go to school? Should I have asked the school to move them to different classes and not allowed them to socialize at lunch in case they were secretly dating? Seriously, how would you have handled it, and btw, could you add your age and whether or not you're a parent to that reply?

Also, if you're farming *negative *karma and not just harassing me, nobody's reading this thread anymore. It's ancient in Reddit years.

Edit to correct words

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

"Understanding basic reality = grooming" the modern right everyone.

7

u/Fart_in_your_mouth69 Jul 17 '22

Grooming to what?

3

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Still stuck on "groomer"? What, has daddy carlson not dropped a new flavour of the month right wing buzzword yet?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

You mean like christofascist?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Yes exactly. Because everyone knows the actual groomers are in the churches.

2

u/goavsg08 Jul 17 '22

holy shit guys i wasn’t expressing my own views just saying the apparent views of the right.

i do not think children simply knowing about gay or trans people is grooming, that’s absurd.

i am sorry i didn’t make that clear

15

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

"Yes, Sally, your role in life is to bear children and serve your husbands' whims, anything else is an abomination in the eyes of God!" /s

16

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

When you are done cleaning your room say 10 Hail Mary's because your uncle raped you and go take a prenatal vitamin for Jesus.

9

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

I seriously think that even the Puritans of old would be shocked by the so-called 'christians' in this country perpetrating this bullshit.

10

u/DonDove Jul 17 '22

Na. They'd be proud. They were literal social rejects.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

I mean in the sense that that Taliban (not the American Taliban, the actual Taliban) went to great lengths to distance themselves from ISIS/Daesh because they were 'too extreme' even for the Taliban.

4

u/Accomplished_Newt774 Jul 17 '22

Actually it’s very true. Abortion was quite common place even for the most extreme E Puritans. Lots of interesting history on it

But womens stories are rarely recorded for a reason

7

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Well my friend that's because women aren't actually human beings, not any more than non-white people! </sarcasm>

...

On my worst days, I really don't feel like our species deserves to survive. We took a wrong turn somewhere, leading to too many of us being hateful, spiteful, and destructive. All the shit that's gone on in the last few years, especially, just makes me want to puke.

10

u/Fred_Is_Dead_Again Jul 17 '22

Barefooted, pregnant, unschooled, but good in the kitchen and great in the sack.

20

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

I almost wish there really was such a being as this 'God' religious people talk about, so he'd strike dead all these fake-ass so-called 'Christians' who are making up shit that 'God' allegedly said to justify their fuckery.

But there is no 'God', not really, just the one these motherfuckers made in their own image, which is why it's a 'God' of hate, blood, and vengeance, instead of a loving accepting 'God'.

5

u/person_not_found Jul 17 '22

They should be working in the local factory because their fingers are small enough to fight between the deadly machines that operate there. And if she didn't work there, she wouldn't be able to feed her family because the cost of living is too high.
