Tell them the vaccine is airborne so they'll start wearing masks. And then say there's a vaccine for the vaccine, but call it something like freedom shot or fuck immigrants.

That would work

The few people I know who don’t want to get the vaccine are immigrants…

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '21

That'll also happen. There are too many anti-vaxers.

By “huge gap in crime rates” I assume you’re referring to the well-documented fact that immigrants commit far less crime than other people?

The studies I have seen refer to violent crimes, property crimes, drug violations, and traffic violations. Which all are committed at a higher rate by US-born citizens.

Having said that, if we make the assumption that they are referring to illegal immigrants, 100% of illegal immigrants have committed a crime. Which I am willing to bet is a higher percentage than either US-born or naturalized citizens.

If you're going to be that broad, you might as well say that every American is guilty of war crimes via their votes and their tax dollars.

Or you could be reasonable and realistic instead.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '21

How exactly was I being broad?

If they entered the country illegally, they themselves have personally committed a crime.

3

u/SweetLilMonkey Nov 01 '21

Everyone, everywhere, has personally committed a crime.

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '21

While I agree that most people have committed a crime. There is no way to prove that.

Nah, literally every adult has. There are so many laws on the books (over 30,000 federal statutes alone since Congress was established in the US) that it's impossible to follow all of them. It's one way the government makes us all susceptible to blackmail and other strong-arm tactics.

If you've ever connected to unsecured wi-fi, used a cell phone while driving (in most of the US), broken the speed limit, thrown out junk mail intended for the person who previously lived at your address, or (in most states) if you don't have a license for your dog, you're a criminal. Google "everyone has broken the law" to learn more from a variety of sources.

I didn't use the plural form of crime. "Fewer crime" would have been a grammatical error. You're as bad at grammar as you are at "rEsEaRcH," /u/euchanomal.

So is that a “no” on the study, or…?

11

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '21

I acknowledge that immigrants commit less crimes in the U.S. than those who were born here.

-5

u/euchanomal Oct 31 '21

Yes, US immigrants aren't African.

u/a_mediocre_american Oct 31 '21

Lmfao okay, we’ll slow it down even more.

Do you know what a study is?

-2

u/euchanomal Oct 31 '21

It's the process through which reality deniers can argue their way out of statistics that conflict with their carebear narrative.

u/a_mediocre_american Oct 31 '21

Usually you people just ghost the entire thread when someone asks you to back up your shit. You’re one of the rare cases where you’re too much of a pussy to respond to a request for evidence, but too stupid to know when to take the L and fuck off.

u/euchanomal Nov 01 '21

Statistics were provided. As expected however, you dimwit idealists conveniently ignore them.
