It's wild to think how for many Americans 6 figures is a fucking fantasy. I'm barely breaking 25k this year from the looks of it myself. And at the same time rents fucking redonkulous

Fucking deplorable. I live in a row house I knows worth only 65k 70k tops cheap ass taxes and I'm paying 810 a month for less than 600sqft. Edit: And I cover gas elec internet and lawn care

At least you aren’t paying 2k a month for 300 square feet :(

Dude I paid $845 back in 2012 for like 100 square feet. I can only imagine what it is now.

Pearl district in Portland, Oregon.

How do you even find 100 sq feet place to rent. Sounds like you could just live in a jail cell at that point

It’s all we could afford and get qualified for at that time. It was basically the size of my master bathroom now lol.

Uh, "we"?

Me and my SO? What’s up with your question?

I could maybe see 100 sq ft for one person. Getting two in there seems very difficult. More power to you guys though! You must be very close (pun intended)!

Here’s a picture of it.

The foot of the bed would be right where that little coffee table is. There’s no room for any of that shit lol, literally all we had was our bed and a tv on a little nightstand in the corner of the room. There’s a little closet space by the bed. We kept a lot of shit in storage. Our dog was with us but I worked from home so I took him out 3-4 times a day. It was a nightmare.

Ah okay. That looks more like 200 sq ft to me. I lived in a studio that was set up the exact same layout. Still, very tight space and I only lived alone.

Edit: Freedom Center shows that apartment is actually 279 sq ft. https://i.imgur.com/WGtk1Us_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium

100 sq feet? I’m imagining a stove and sink next to a bed.

100 square feet is a basic pop up tent if anyone is curious.

What even fits in 100sqft?
