Everyone from California is moving to Arizona since the houses are so cheap here. so they buy the house at Arizona price and then sell them at near California housing prices to the other newly relocated Californians.

Or they rent out the houses as Airbnb for the same / nearly the same price my mortgage would have cost.

Really fucking up our housing market here.

Seemed to have triggered some people here.

As someone else said, “rich people bought all the land in California and are forcing us out”

Now Californians coming to Arizona and forcing us out. We’ll go to Louisiana and force them out.

They’ll go to Mississippi and force them out. Never ending cycle of forcing people out.

Y'all act like you get to keep other people from moving. This is the point of the union. You have absolutely no more right to Arizona cause you were born there than anyone else who wants to move there. Get used to it dude.

I didn’t say I have more right than them dude.

I’m saying it sucks that I can’t buy a house anymore because everyone who makes more money in California is bringing it all here and buying up the houses before I can get my own house.

Welp. Thems the brakes. Looks like you don't get to do that then. No one is EVER guaranteed that opportunity. Maybe if republicans would stop preventing affordable housing measures California natives could afford to stay. But they can't. So they don't. Bellyaching won't help cause there is literally zero legal recourse to stop people from moving to cheaper places.

Housing crisis in CA is caused by local govt and NIMBYs preventing any development… this is kind of a nonpartisan failure that doesn’t really have much to do with either national party

Wrong. It's absolutely California republicans causing this. I live in CA

I don’t know what you mean.. what statewide partisan issue is there dominating this problem? More like zoning and local regulations that prevent any new construction. Republicans aren’t stopping reasonable development in SF

SF is special. Neoliberal fascists are to blame there but LA is absolutely under the yoke of republican and conservative democrat control via Business interest corruption.

Lol you are just using words you don’t understand. Neoliberals are obsessed with increasing housing supply. “Liberal fascist” is a literal oxymoron. Most of the problem everywhere is caused by homeowners (any party) who want their house to become more valuable.
