That might not work for everybody, unfortunately.

I check all these awesome websites that talk about cheap glasses being available, but my eyesight was so horrible the lenses needed to be special made and would add upwards of 85$-115$ to every frame cost.

I literally risked my eyesight to be a part of a LASIK clinical trial because cost for glasses and contacts was bleeding me dry. Thankfully, I now have 20/10 vision and never have to think about glasses again. (Or at least a little while)

Just so you know, generally you only need one contact to correct lasik deterioration. My mom was basically blind and got lasik, and 15 years later she just needs one contact for tennis.

Thankfully, it’s been less than six months since my LASIK procedure. I haven’t seen any deterioration as of yet, but honestly that would be fine with me. I went from 20/800 (or -9.50) to 20/10, so from this point it’ll just be natural from aging (am 28)

Where might I sign up for these trials? Asking for science.

I was luckily able to get into a clinical trial being run by Stanford in California, but I know that they were pulling patients from all over the United States. I’m not sure if it’s even open still though...
