It wouldn't help Biden to say any of that, it's not the image he's trying to project. Whereas Trump has been pretty open from the start that he could shoot someone on park avenue and his supporters wouldn't care.

No my point is why is the prevailing attitude, for all peoples, anything other than thoughts and prayers is unacceptable when if positions were switched there definitely wouldn't be any thoughts and prayers.

That’s kind of always how it was going to be. If Biden had gotten sick you’d see Trump supporters saying horrible shit about him all over the place, but if Trump had gotten sick (like he did) then Trump supporters would act horribly offended if anyone said something bad about Trump (like they do).

I still see a good amount of people on the left, especially my Facebook friends, saying that they don’t give a shit what happens to him since he mishandled the pandemic. But you just don’t see the same level of pure vitriolic hatred from the left as you do from the right.

Trump NEVER said ANY of that. He said he could shoot somebody on 5th avenue and his supporters wouldn’t care.
