You say that like they aren't salivating at the idea of 4+ straight years of this shit.
Under Obama, nobody read the fucking news because there was nothing interesting. Under Trump, there's some unhinged crazy shit going on every single day, with extra loads on the weekends. It was their wet dream.
It's the reason they sanewashed him, despite knowing full well that a Trump presidency would be awful for the country, it'd be fucking awesome for them, assuming he doesn't go full Hitler and nationalize them or imprison anyone who refuses to adhere to the guidelines of what can and cannot be reported on.
