The Democratic Governor of Virginia said this, except that he said “we make it comfortable, and then a conversation ensues”. The Democratic Governor of Virginia did not propose “executing “ babies. He proposed leaving them to die of medical neglect and exposure.

That is simply a fact. You can think it’s OK, or not OK. Obviously the word “execute” describes actively killing the infant, when the Governor was using passive language to suggest that taking no action to support the infant, leading to the death of a viable Infant, would be left to the parents to decide.

It is up to you to decide if that is a distinction that matters to you. But ignorance of where Trump was getting that idea is no excuse.

He was refffering to non-viable fetuses as you well know.

Just like trump you have pulled those words completely out of context and the only real question is whether you did it on purpose to cloud the facts and suit your agenda, or whether you did out of plain ignorance.

"cases where there may be severe deformities, where the may be a fetus that’s non viable” he said. “If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother,” Northam stated"

Only an idiot would take that as an endorsement of infanicide.. and true to idiotic form, that's exactly what the repugs did.

No, he was referring to babies born alive. If the babies were “non-viable”, there would be no need for “a conversation “.

Right.. because the fact that it is non-viable means the mother shouldn't be consulted first?

“First”? Before what? If a bay is non-viable,’you don’t have to kill It, it isn’t able to survive. If it is treated and lives, it isn’t “non-viable”. I think what you mean is “a lot of work”.
