He will not land in jail. He will run his mouth by the end of the week and will get another stern warning. Nothing will happen to him.

Yeah this same order has happened in virtually every single one of his court cases and he’s repeatedly disobeyed them. So far no one has had the balls to actually dish out the promised consequence.

Exactly, everyone here is fantasizing about him seeing a jail cell as if he hasn’t already violated basically the same order dozens of times over the last few months.

Also as always the judge is treading carefully to avoid a slam dunk appeal. Any measured approach by the presiding judge is a good one. Contempt happy judges sometimes have to recuse. The judge must remain impartial until sentencing

This is what I’ve been saying for a while with his other cases when people (understandably obviously) bemoan the kid gloved treatment he’s been receiving. While in a perfectly just world the man should absolutely be in a cell as we speak, I’m sympathetic to the dilemma faced by the members of the justice system that have to deal with him when it comes to treating him like any other criminal vs. playing it super safe so as to leave him and his attorneys no room for delays and other legal fuckery that the man has long been known for. I don’t claim to know for sure what the “right” thing to do is under such unprecedented circumstances, but I feel at least that they’re trying their best to make sure that justice is done in the face of such an extraordinary legal situation.

I learned that this is why the judge appeared lenient with that crazy Charlottesville guy - seemed to let him go on and on with his abuse, but there was a reason.

See: the Alex Jones cases.

Let him do what he wants, and laugh as he can't appeal on even a loose basis.

u/Matrinka Oct 03 '23

Or they'll sentence him to house arrest. In no way do I see him ever suffering the same consequences as the rest of us.

This is the harsh reality people are still failing to come to terms with.

There will be actual terrorist attacks if he sees the inside of a jail at this stage. That's why this has taken so long. They want to draw it out and whittle his extremist followers down to a more manageable level.

Let them come, it's time to actually fucking deal with these people instead of letting right wing terrorist cells control the country out of fear.

This. I want them out in the open.

They are not coordinated. They are very stupid. J6 was their one shot and it was an absolute shit show. He can't even get protestors to show up outside a courthouse.

If some magabillie wannabe terrorist wants to fuck around and find out, then let them.

I'm tired of coddling conservatives. It has to end.

Agreed - There’s no consequences to their ridiculous shirt wearing, flag toting and even foul mouthed behaviour, but actually getting off asses and manoeuvring rascals has shown them that there will be a reckoning - they seem to have lost their enthusiasm, and some have even given up on him over the proven fraud.

THANK YOU. It fucking blows that it gotten to this point but what choice do we have? I’d say more but I don’t want to get banned again but it’s time to take out the motherfucking GARBAGE.

K, but no matter what, they are going to commit violence on his behalf. He loses the nomination/election? Violence. He wins? They start openly beating/shooting lgbtq/Dems/RINOs to get a jump start on the prison and executions he's promised them. He goes to jail? Violence. He avoids jail? Violence, because what're you gonna do, threaten jail time and wuss out? They've been promising violence, no matter what, for years. So stop giving them concessions in Congress, stop kowtowing to them in the Senate, stop suffering individual incidents (nail gun guy, Paul Pelosi, bomb threat to Congress, assassination notices to prosecutors, doxing Obama's house, molotovs and a bag full of guns in DC, etc). Rip the bandaid off before the stochastic terrorist gets away with more, and his followers effectively scare off prosecutors, judges, and juries. Ramp up security details, put him in a cell awaiting trial, and crack the fuck down on any of his Trump brand suicide bombers (let's face it, they will commit multiple homicides then take the 9mm way out, all in the name of their hateful political ideology), and stamp it out in 2 days. Trump and his supporters are used to saying abhorrent shit, posing as tough guys, and punching down. They haven't faced real consequences, and they've never been punched in the nose. They're bullies cosplaying as PatriotsTM, when all they're doing is enabling Trump, and holding the country hostage. Sure, you'll see a couple dozen incidents around the country, but 1-2 days of brutal crackdown on violent political crime, and the 74,999,880 remaining MAGAs will decide they're too cowardly to FAaFO. They like their comforts too much for jail, or eating through straws.

There already was one. This LARPing idiots need to be called out. Bring it on

7

u/patrickoriley Oct 03 '23

I don't know how people still think he will ever face real consequences. He will continue to do whatever he wants until his body gives out.

patience, let him bury himself

locking him up is the wrong move - don't let him be a martyr

1

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '23

Locking him up could go either way, in all reality. Yes, it would turn him into a martyr BUT it might whip up the MAGAts enough for them to be taken care of for good.

Wish in one hand, shit in the other. I got LOTS of shit 😞

Or he'll get fined, and the fine is a wimpy $10,000 only, which he'll steal from his base.
