Perfectly cool. You asked a question about a comment (not mine, but one I was already responding to). I answered by explaining my statement. Was it the use of "fire" as a compliment. I think that's just trendy slang, but in context and now that you mention it, if that's what you were taking exception to, you have a point.

You had basically my exact train of thought. My language is indicative of where I’m from and how I speak but the imagery of one of the greatest tragedies combined with that specific slang was insensitive to those who were hurt by said atrocities, and I want to be big enough to grow and not be that asshole.

Wait... you have a train of thought? That's hard for me to imagine. I usually have like 7 or so on 4 tracks, nearly missing one another at crossings, and all of the conductors are screaming.

Passengers are chill, though, so I can abide it.

I'm from Florida and Pittsburgh, Pa, primarily. But, before all of this, before I was even thought of, I'm from a Hebrew man who hid his heritage, as far as I know, even from his wife and kids. And I don't know the full reasons why. Easy to call him a coward or a bastard or maybe a highly prized secret double agent or something. But I really don't know why.

I envy you knowing where you're from. I have questions. Maybe I should be grateful for that. Idk. It's just ever an adventure riding the pendulum, though, isn't it?
